Cult of the Lamb is the newest big thing in the rouge-like adventure hack and slash game. You are a Lamb that is leading a whole Cult. You can fill up this Cult with tons of various creatures and get them to love you.

Leading a Cult means that from time to time you’ll have to sacrifice some of your followers. How do you sacrifice a Specific Follower though? This is what we’re talking about today!

Maybe it is a follower that you might not like, or it doesn’t offer what your base needs. So you want to point a finger and choose a specific type of followed to get sacrificed to the glorious needs and future of your Cult (which can have a really funny name – make sure to check them out)

The One Who Waits is always open for new sacrificial lambs. So either you can re-educate your followers or give them to him. Let’s see how you can give and sacrifice specific followers.

How To Sacrifice A Specific Follower

You must go to the chapel to sacrifice a specific Follower. It is a big triangular structure that can be found inside your Cult. There will be several alternatives available to you within the church, but you must select Sacrifice. 

Following that, you will be asked to choose a follower from the list to sacrifice. You can scroll down and look for the Followed of your choosing. Usually, you will go for the ones that are not high with their faith, or you won’t need what they offer for your base.

You can see everything in the list here that is described about them. Then after you’ve made up your mind, you can just choose the Specific Follower you want and click the Sacrifice Option.

One of the followers of your choosing will go to the middle and be sacrificed to The One Who Waits.

Before You Sacrifice a Specific Follower

A very good tip that you need to do before sacrificing a specific follower is to activate the Belief in Sacrifice Doctrine.

This Doctrine will grant you +20 Faith to each Follower that you have after you’ve done a sacrifice.

This way you will get yet another big benefit from this sacrificing procedure and get that Faith Bar much higher than usual.

Benefits of Sacrificing a Specific Follower

The main benefit will of course be that you won’t have that Follower in your Cult. It might have not had a big faith bar or the perks that are required for upgrading your base and etc. In other words, you’ve gotten rid of a follower that you didn’t like and you got some buffs too.

Other big benefits are that you will receive an incredibly high quantity of EXP as a reward for your sacrifice.

However, this is not the most important advantage. The best part is that your health, damage, and fervor will all be boosted. Furthermore, new weapons and Curses will be made available to you.

How To Unlock Sacrificing of Followers

To begin, you must play the game and progress to a specific point. Just how you’ll unlock getting followers, and special types of buildings, and quests… it is just as same as unlocking the sacrificing option of your followers. Just play through the main story and you’ll get here.

Then, after having unlocked the Sacrifice Option, you must accomplish three runs through the Darkwood after acquiring the ability to sacrifice followers. You will kill the second mini-boss of this run.

Similarly, this is required to obtain the Sacrifice of the Flesh Doctrine, which you’ll need to use before each sacrifice.

Next up is finding The One Who Waits NPC. You will need to complete a whole set of runs and quests and you’ll get to him. He will open the road for your sacrificing options and doctrines later on.

Now you’ll have to go to your Temple and then inside when choosing all the options you’ll have to pick the Sacrifice Option. You’ll see that it will cost you:

• 1 Follower
• 75 Bones
