Rooms & Exits High School Walkthrough (Chapter 1 – Level 4)

Got stuck while trying to solve the Rooms & Exits High School level (Chapter 1 – Level 4)? Worry not, as I am here to share the complete walkthrough for this level – all the text instructions you need to complete it without headaches.

I already shared the Rooms & Exits walkthrough for the first three levels here, but things are getting more complicated, so I will start doing individual articles for each level from now on.

Full, step-by-step solution

1. Tap the teacher’s desk and zoom into the computer monitor. Tap the opposing red pieces on the outside to switch their positions, and you will open a drawer. Get the cable and remote.

2. Use the cable on the TV and play the Pac-Man minigame – using the virtual joystick on the right, collect all dots before the time runs out (get the top ones at the first intersection on the right, then go to the left at the next one, then up at the next, keep going up to collect the purple ones, then get the remaining blue ones, the ones at the bottom and finally exit).

3. You will reveal a code – 1590. Use it to open the classroom’s door (use the panel to the left) and go into the next room.

4. Tap the sink and get the batteries. In your inventory, tap both the remote and the batteries, and select combine. Then select “Use” on the remote with batteries.

5. Go to the next door and use the remote on the blinders – it will reveal a letter code (QUAILS). Look at the writing on the table – the letters correspond to the code: 2-3-4-1-9-7.

6. Go to the next room and tap the red locker in the middle, then open it using the code above. Get the button.

7. Tap the area under the sink and solve the puzzle – you need a connection between the red and green tiles in opposing corners) – two straight lines downards from the red one, then a corner to the right, then two straight ones connecting with another corner that gets you to the green. Get the lightbulb.

8. Go back to the previous room and tap the globe in front of the window. Use the lightbulb on it to reveal the code: 20-17-39. Use this code to open the door under the globe. Get the puzzle piece.

9. Zoom into the AC unit on the window and place the button on it. It will start blowing smoke. Go to the room on the right, tap the red box by the door and get the fire extinguisher. Use it on the smoke, then get the key.

10. Go to the room on the right, and use the key to open the fusebox by the door. Using the sketch to the right, solve the puzzle:

  • Blue – middle
  • Black – up
  • Red – down
  • Yellow – up
  • Green – down
  • Yellow – middle
  • Black – up
  • Blue – middle

Get the second puzzle piece.

11. Tap the puzzle board on the trophy case and add the two puzzle pieces. Now, you have to solve the puzzle itself: start with the base (a vial to the left, microscope in the middle and books to the right).

12. Tap the trophy to move it away and get the key. Use it to open the door and exit.
