The best crop in Palia for making money is the Tomato. It can be bought in the early game, produces crops fast, and will keep producing after harvest.
Specifically, the Tomato takes 4 days to grow, yields 2-3 tomatoes per harvest, and can be harvested up to four times. As for its price, it sells for 23 gold at normal quality and 34 gold at star quality while it costs 80 gold per seed.
Thus, even if you only get two tomatoes per harvest and they are all of normal quality, you’ll still make 184 gold by selling them, which is 104 gold profit.
Of course, with higher quality yields, fertilizer, or other crop bonuses, you can expect even more money per harvest.
