League of Legends “PBE Is Not Available for Your Current Account” Fix

The “PBE is Not Available for Your Current Account” error in League of Legends can be quite annoying when you want to try out the upcoming features in the game but constantly fail to do so.

This is somewhat a common problem and most players face it at least once while trying to log in to the PBE account.

It’s time to finally put an end to this and today I’ll guide you through pretty simple fixes to this frustrating “PBE Is Not Available for Your Current Account” error in LoL.

Causes

The “PBE Is Not Available for Your Current Account” error usually happens for two main reasons: you’re either logged in to your main account or the credentials of your PBE account isn’t unique.

However, these errors have pretty straightforward solutions.

The PBE and Live accounts are two completely different accounts. The only reason you need to link these two is to help Riot identify the PBE account that you own.

Solutions  

Logging out of Main Account

The first fix that you should try is to log out of your live account.

There’s this bug that directs you to your original account even though you’re trying to enter the PBE account.

To log out, navigate to the icon on the top-right corner of the Riot Games client.

Simply clicking on “Sign Out” should do the job.

After that, enter the correct Username as well as Password of your PBE account to easily sign in.

If you’re still being directed to your main account, then the next solution should solve it for you!

Updating PBE Account Information

The reason why you were directed to the main account again in the previous solution is probably because you have the same Username for both accounts or there’s a bug with your Username information.

The easiest solution to this is to update your Username in the Riot Website.

You should update the Username on your PBE account, since changing it for the Live account comes with additional problems.

Firstly, use a different browser where you aren’t logged into Riot Games or the Private mode of your current browser.

Look up “Riot Account Username Update” on Google and enter the first link.

Here, you should enter the username and password of your PBE account. More importantly, for the “Region” option below the Social Media icons, make sure you choose “Public Beta”.

This should log you in to the PBE account and from the Account option on the top-right corner, you can change your username into a unique one.

After that, entering your League of Legends PBE account should be a piece of cake!

However, if you’re still unable to enter the PBE account or you notice an error regarding incorrect credentials, you may need to recover your username using email.

Recovering Username using Email

Before you proceed, make sure that your email address was verified as a PBE account holder. If that’s not the case, this solution will not be fruitful to your cause.

Type in “Recovery Riot Games Account” on Google and enter the first link.

After selecting “Forgot Username”, you’ll be prompted to enter the verified email address linked to your PBE account.

The recovery process is quick and easy, but do remember to check your Spam folder if you don’t see any emails from Riot Games.

Putting in the renewed Username and Password should now log you in to your League of Legends PBE account.

Contacting Riot Support

If the problem of logging in to your PBE account still persists, then I’m afraid there’s nothing you can do from here on out.

Browse to the Riot Support webpage and scroll down to select “Submit a Ticket”.

On the resulting webpage, select “Account Management” while choosing the type of request. Make sure you select “Public Beta” as your region while submitting the ticket.

Rio should contact you and eventually provide a fix to your problem.
