Which Platforms are Eligible for Account Linking
The account linking feature is available for players on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Steam, and Epic Games.
While Hogwarts Legacy launches on February 10, 2023 only for Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, players from other consoles can also link their accounts right away.
As for Playstation 4 and Xbox One, the release date is April 4, 2023, whereas, for Nintendo Switch, Hogwarts Legacy will release on July 25, 2023.
How to Link Wizarding World and WB Games Account for Hogwarts Legacy
The process is straightforward and here’s what you need to do, step-by-step:
- Log in/Sign up to Wizarding World. If you’ve already selected your house, wand, and patronus, you’ve already made an account here.
- Log in/Sign up to WB Games.
- In WB Games, from the top left menu, select ‘Connections’ and then scroll to the bottom to ‘Harry Potter Fan Club’ (which is another name for Wizard World). Click connect to link the two accounts.
- Lastly, also link the platform where you’ll be playing Hogwarts Legacy (Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation, etc.).
After doing this, any house and wand you got via Wizarding World will be transferred to Hogwarts Legacy when the game launches. However, there are some extra rewards to be gained. Let’s examine them.
