“Cache is the Castle” is an early-game side quest given by Arthur Plummly. This quest involves finding three hidden artifacts within Hogwarts by following a treasure map.
Thankfully, all three treasures are in central locations and in close proximity to each other. Thus, players will have no trouble locating them.

How to Complete Cache in the Castle in Hogwarts Legacy
This quest can be started by interacting with Arthur Plummly in the Charms classroom Floo Flame within the Astronomy Wing.
To complete the “Cache in the Castle” quest, players will have to simply walk by two locations within Hogwarts and then use Accio on the portrait in the third location.
This way, they will unlock a hidden treasure room and get rewarded with a unique historian outfit for Hogwarts Legacy.
Arthur’s Treasure Map First Landmark Location
For the first landmark, travel to the Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower Floo Flame in the Astronomy Wing. Head straight and go down the main stairs until you find a Rhinoceros Skeleton.
Simply walk by it and that’s the first landmark completed.
Arthur’s Treasure Map Second Landmark Location
For the second landmark, teleport to the Transfiguration Courtyard Floo Flame in the Astronomy Wing.
Check on your left in the middle of the courtyard and you’ll see a dragon fountain, which is the second landmark.
Walk by it to complete the second part of the Cache in the Castle quest.
Arthur’s Treasure Map Third Landmark Location
For the third and final landmark, enter the door behind the second landmark fountain. After entering, head straight, then take a right and go up the stairs.
After going up a few sets of stairs, your character will say “This looks like the portrait from the map. Now, where’s the treasure?”.
From there, look at the mentioned portrait and cast Accio on the handle on top of it.
This will unlock a hidden door with a chest behind it. Open the chest and return to the Charms Classroom in the Astronomy Wing to talk to Arthur and complete the quest.
