RIG Riot: All Hidden Weapon Locations: How to Find All 10 Secret Weapons

RIG Riot has 10 hidden weapons scattered across its tutorial, arenas, and later maps. The game gives you an in-game clue for each one, but some of those clues are very cryptical to say the least.

But worry not! I am here to help you find the 10 hidden weapons in RIG Riot – and do so quickly, easily, and without headaches.

I am also listing them in the order they appear in the game, so you can quickly find what you’re looking for (although a quick search for the clue’s text will take you directly to the weapon you want).

Tutorial: There From The Start

“Find a weapon while learning the ropes.”

The first hidden weapon is right in the tutorial, and the game gives you a fair chance of finding it without a dedicated search.

But if you can’t figure it out, here’s where the first hidden weapon is: Near the end of the tutorial level, head to the back right corner. Look below a platform, where the weapon is sitting on the ground.

Firing Range: Down Range

“Find a weapon that is closer than you think.”

This one plays a small joke on you by putting the weapon somewhere that is technically close, but vertically very much not.

In the firing range, look near the top of the skybox, directly above the extraction pad. You will need good boosters to reach it.

Unlock: Sunshower

Bandit Cage Match: We Got Encaged!

“Find a weapon somewhere cagey.”

The first arena weapon is in Bandit Cage Match. When you spawn in, take a hard right and head toward the opposite end of the map. Look beneath the collapsed building.

Unlock: Propagator

Corporate Crossroads: Cut Corner

“Find a weapon that was dropped en route to its destination.”

The next arena weapon is hidden in Corporate Crossroads.

Head to the back corner of the map and search at ground level. The weapon is sitting there, waiting for you to pick it up.

Militia Holding Cell: Box Cutter

“Find a weapon that failed to provide an escape.”

The final arena weapon is tucked inside the militia holding cell. Use your spawn position as the reference point and check behind the back right pillar.

This is the kind of location that is easy to miss when you are focused on getting through the area, so make a deliberate check behind that pillar before leaving.

Unlock: folding blade

The Wastes: Precarious Situation

“In The Wastes, find a weapon stored alongside some things it should definitely not be near.”

The description is doing a pretty good job here.

From your spawn point, head in the opposite direction and look for a small village area. At the back are 4 barrels. The weapon is hidden just behind them.

Unlock: KRS Plasma Cannon

The Facility: For Safekeeping

“In The Facility, find a weapon stashed out of sight, just in case.”

From the ground level, head opposite your spawn point until you reach a long road with a ramp on both ends.

The weapon is hidden under the far side of the road, on the side opposite the wall.

Unlock: Energy Revolver

The Prison: Lost In Transit

“In The Prison, find a weapon that was not packaged securely in transit.”

The Prison is full of cargo boxes, which makes this one a little awkward to explain until you have the right landmark.

Stay in the section of the map where you spawn, specifically the lowermost circle. Look for a pile of cargo boxes with 3 stacks of long crates sitting in front of it.

The weapon is sitting on top of the cargo boxes.

Unlock: Armageddon

The Guts: Busted

“In The Guts, find a weapon below the beaten path.”

The weapon in The Guts is on a small platform, second lowest in the map. Once you find that platform, check directly behind the large pillar.

Unlock: Mega Launcher

The Nexus: Overwhelming Power

“In The Nexus, find the weapon of somebody who tried and failed.”

NOTE: There are some story spoilers here if you have not finished the game yet.

First, go through The Nexus normally and complete all the major objectives. Once that is done, head to the center of the map and complete the boss fight.

After the fight, the weapon drops onto the ground from the small rig you fought. Pick it up there.

Unlock: Siege Cannon

A Quick Route Through All 10 Weapons

If you are collecting these during a full playthrough, use this as a compact checklist:

1. Tutorial: Back right corner near the end, below a platform.
2. Firing Range: Above the extraction pad near the top of the skybox. Bring good boosters.
3. Bandit Cage Match: Hard right from spawn, then check below the collapsed building at the opposite end.
4. Corporate Crossroads: Back corner of the map at ground level.
5. Militia Holding Cell: Behind the back right pillar relative to where you spawn.
6. The Wastes: Small village opposite spawn, behind the 4 (presumably) explosive barrels.
7. The Facility: Under the far side of the long road, opposite the wall.
8. The Prison: On top of the cargo boxes in the lowermost circle, behind 3 stacks of long crates.
9. The Guts: Behind the large pillar on the second-lowest platform.
10. The Nexus: Complete all the major objectives, beat the boss in the center, then collect the weapon dropped by the small rig.

Final Thoughts

The hidden weapons in RIG Riot are spread across a good mix of obvious and surprisingly sneaky locations. But now you know where to find each one, and hopefully you won’t waste any more time searching.
