Genshin Impact: Dori Best Build

Dori is the latest addition to Genshin Impact’s character list, introduced with the second part of the 3.0 update.

She is a claymore character that utilizes the Electro Element. Her role is support/healer focused on constant Electro applications.

One thing to keep in mind about Dori is that her Elemental Skill and Burst damage scaling are based on Atk stats, while her healing is based solely on HP. It’s important to remember this, when deciding which stats to prioritize.

With her kit, Dori can be a great replacement for other Electro characters in some of Genshin Impact’s best Dendro teams in 3.0

In this guide, I’ll go through Dori’s best builds and weapons, ascension materials, and talent priorities in Genshin Impact.

What Are the Best Builds for Dori?

Dori is a support that focuses on healing and applying Electro. Therefore, her best builds play around that aspect.

Early Game Build

Dori is one of the few characters in Genshin Impact that can fully utilize a 4-star artifact set. Specifically, the 4-piece Instructor set fits her kit greatly, as long as she is in a reaction-focused team.

Some players even consider using this set as an end-game piece due to its helpful passive. While it’s going to be worse than a 5-star, as long as you can get enough Energy Recharge, you should be fine.

Late Game Build

Dori’s best late-game artifact set is the 4-piece Noblesse Oblige. As a support that uses her Elemental Skill and Burst and rotates out, the Noblesse Oblige buff is an amazing tool to buff your team’s overall damage.

In the late game, Dori has two main builds: support focused on healing and reaction support that focuses on EM. Both builds utilize the Noblesse Oblige 4-piece set, but they require different stats on artifacts.

For the support build, you want the following mainstats:

  • Sands: Energy Recharge (aim for 200%)
  • Goblet: HP%
  • Circlet: Healing Bonus/HP%

As for substats, focus on Energy Recharge until you can get it to 200%, then HP% to increase your healing efficiency and some Atk%. Lastly, if you’re using the Favonius Greatsword, focus on increasing your Crit Rate.

For the Elemental Mastery-focused build, you want the following mainstats:

  • Sands: Energy Recharge (aim for 200%)
  • Goblet: Elemental Mastery
  • Circlet: Elemental Mastery

As for substats, aim for 200% Energy Recharge, and then focus on Elemental Mastery and some Atk%. As in the previous case, if you’re going for the Favonius Greatsword, try and get enough Crit Rate.

Best Weapons for Dori

Dori with her Djinni in Genshin Impact.

Dori prioritizes weapons that give her Energy Recharge or help her buff her team. She is one of the few characters where it’s better to go for a 4-star weapon than a 5-star.

Therefore, while I’ll go through all the categories of weapons, her best option is the Favonius Greatsword.

Best 5-Star Weapon: Wolf’s Gravestone

The Atk% stat helps her Elemental Skill and Burst Damage, while the weapon passive provides a significant buff to the team.

If you go for Wolf’s Gravestone, you will need to prioritize a lot of ER on your artifact stats and substats.

Best 4-Star Weapon: The Bell

The HP% stat increases Dori’s healing with her Elemental Burst. In addition, the passive gives the active character a shield and a DMG bonus.

Similar to Wolf’s Gravestone, you’ll need to prioritize ER on artifacts.

Best Free-to-Play Weapons: Favonius Greatsword/Forest Regalia

Favonius Greatsword gives Dori everything she needs: a lot of Energy Recharge. With a solid Crit Rate, you’ll always have your ultimate available on cooldown.

In addition, this weapon allows you to focus on other stats for artifacts, like HP%, Atk%, or EM.

Forest Regalia is an amazing option for Reaction-based teams when Dori prioritizes Elemental Mastery. It increases the EM of the active character by a solid amount, while also having an Energy Recharge stat.

For talents, prioritize leveling your Elemental Burst, then the Elemental Skill. As for Basic Attacks, you can fully ignore them, unless you’re playing a DPS Dori based on her 6th constellation.

To level up one talent from level 1 to 10, you will need the following materials:

  • 1.7M Mora

Conclusion

To sum up, Dori is a support character that provides healing and Electro application. She can shine in reaction teams with a 4-piece Noblesse Oblige and a Favonius Greatsword.

As long as she has 200% Energy Recharge, she can split her focus among other stats like Elemental Mastery, Atk%, HP%, and Crit Rate.
