NetEase Games has bolstered the roster of its hit NBA-licensed street basketball title, Dunk City Dynasty, with the arrival of two basketball icons: Jason Kidd, now available, and Dirk Nowitzki, set to join the game on August 6.
The update marks the second half of Season 2 and delivers a fresh wave of all-star action for fans on iOS and Android.
Following in the footsteps of previous player drops seen in games like NBA 2K Mobile, Dunk City Dynasty’s new season brings both elite defense and scoring power to mobile devices.
Kidd, famed for his vision, versatility, and defensive prowess, enters as a point guard with a suite of skills including “Phantom Steal” and “Team Engine,” reflecting his career as one of the NBA’s great two-way players.
Nowitzki, recognized for his revolutionary shooting at seven feet tall and his signature fadeaway, joins as a power forward, armed with “Clutch Shot” and “Catch & Fade” skills, ready to dominate late-game play.

Beyond the new stars, the update introduces a slate of live events.
The Elite Players Event allows users to try top-tier athletes for free in multiple modes, while the Treasure Hunt offers vouchers and exclusive costumes as rewards.
Fan-favorite Token Items, including Superstar Vouchers and Talent Card Packs, also return for a limited time.
The style-conscious can look forward to the “Modern Times” collection of outfits, along with exclusive jerseys for the new arrivals and element-themed “Fiery” and “Deep Sea” sets.
