How to Unlock the Frosted Heights Biome
The Frosted Heights biome is located in the top-right corner of the map. It can only be accessed through the Forest of Valor and costs 10.000 dreamlight to unlock.
It is the next recommended biome to progress after completing the Sunlit Plateau, which costs 7.000 dreamlight to unlock.
To access the Frosted Heights biome, move up from the Forest of Valor and interact with the thorns there.
How to Break Icicles and Unlock the Second Part of the Frosted Heights Biome
You’ll notice that similar to the Glade of Trust, the Frosted Heights biome is split into two parts.
The map is separated by bridges blocked by icicles. To access the second part of the Frosted Heights biome, players will need to break those icicles.
As for how to break them, it’s part of upgrading the pickaxe through Elsa’s questline. Specifically, players will need to complete ‘The Signing Ice’ quest, given by Elsa at friendship level 6.
With the new upgrade, you’ll be able to break every icicle on the map and explore Frosted Heights fully.

As for materials, players get introduced to new varieties of fruit, flowers, gems, fish, and vegetables.

If you’re missing any other biome, go for that. Otherwise, it’s time to explore the final biome in Disney Dreamlight Valley: the Forgotten Lands.
Make sure to start saving dreamlight since the Forgotten Lands biome costs 15.000 dreamlight.
However, it will give you access to some unique new materials, like pumpkin seeds, which are one of the most profitable seeds in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
