The Forgotten Lands is the current end-game biome in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It is the hardest and most expensive biome to unlock, while at the same time being the most rewarding.
It offers some top-tier resources in terms of fish, minerals, and farming seeds, all of which are extremely profitable if you’re looking to make some money.
In addition, the biome’s features provide some hints as to which characters may join us soon in the Valley.
In this guide, I’ll explain how to unlock the Forgotten Lands biome fully, list all new materials found there, and guide you on what to do after completing it.
How to Unlock the Forgotten Lands Biome
The Forgotten Lands biome is located in the top-left corner of the map. It can only be accessed through the Sunlit Plateau biome and costs 15.000 dreamlight to unlock.
At the moment, it is the most expensive biome to unlock in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
As long as you’ve unlocked the Sunlit Plateau and have the required dreamlight, you should be able to access the Forgotten Lands. Simply interact with the thorns at the entrance.
How to Remove Green Flames in the Forgotten Lands Biome
The Forgotten Lands biome is characterized by tall, eerie trees and green flames. One important detail is that players can access the entire map right away, without needing to remove any of the flames.
However, at the moment, there is no way to remove the green flames from the Forgotten Lands biome. Instead, players will have to navigate around them to explore the biome.
Another aspect that cannot be fully explored in the Forgotten Lands biome is the pumpkin house located near the entrance.
While we have no official information on whom it belongs, my best guess would be to the Fairy Godmother. For now, we’ll have to wait and see until a future update comes out.
All New Materials in Forgotten Lands
As the current end-game biome, the Forgotten Lands adds multiple new materials. Some of these materials, due to their rarity, are extremely profitable.
For instance, Diamond is the highest selling gem at 600 coins per item, while pumpkins are one of the more profitable crops in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

What to Unlock After the Forgotten Lands
While the Forgotten Lands is the last biome currently in the game, it doesn’t mean there’s nothing to do after completing it.
Specifically, Disney has 2 content updates planned for Disney Dreamlight Valley in fall 2022, which will probably include new characters, biomes, and quests.

You can start preparing for those by saving dreamlight. An estimate would be 17.000-20.000 dreamlight for the next biome. In addition, new characters will be added to the castle, which also cost dreamlight.
Of course, you’ll also need money to get everything in the new zones. Thus, completing the Forgotten Lands means it’s a good time to start farming for what’s to come to Dinsey Dreamlight Valley in the short future.
