Best Sand-Type Coromon
Sand-type Coromon are ideal choices for dealing with Electric-type Coromon, as well as any Foul and Sand attack users.
Let’s examine the best Sand-type Coromon in the game, both for PvE and PvP.
5. Millidont
Millidont, which evolves from Decibite and Centilla, shines due to its high Defense, which is one of the highest Defense stats of all Coromon.
Combine these with the Super Drain and Reconstruct moves and it will be extremely hard to deal with.
Additionally, it can also utilize Poison Chomp to apply status effects.
Due to its slow pace, Millidont is an optimal choice for PvP, while it’s less popular for PvE.
4. Sandrill
Sandrill is the evolution of Tinshel and Dunpod. Its best effect is that most of its moves apply the Hazy status effect on opponents.
Additionally, with the Wet Coat trait, it can increase its Speed during rainy weather. This makes it fit in Water-type teams, as a way to deal with Electric-types and cover some extra weaknesses.
However, it’s useful only on specific teams and mostly for PvP.
3. Malavite
Malavite evolves from Mooby and Molbash and combines high offensive and defensive stats with the ability to heal itself with Reconstruct.
Additionally, with the Dry Wind trait, it can whip up a Sandstorm which benefits both itself and other Sand-type Coromon such as Skelatops.
It can shine in almost any team to slow down the pace of the fight and thus it’s recommended for both PvE and PvP.
2. Skelatops
Skelatops, which is the evolution of Skarbone and Skuldra, is a defensive Sand-type Coromon that focuses on controlling the battlefield by debuffing the enemy.
It has solid Special Attack and Special Defense stats, while its moveset can deal with Sand, Cut, Poison, and Ghost-type enemies.
Combined with Dirt Coat, Skelatops is practically unbeatable while in a sandstorm. Skelatops shines in a Sand-focused team that utilizes Sandstorm.
Its wide variety of moves and its high stats make Skelatops a prime choice both for PvE and PvP.
1. Kyraptor
Kyraptor is the evolution of Kyreptil and the best overall Sand-type Coromon. It features exceptionally high Attack and Defense stats, while also having higher HP compared to Skelatops.
Additionally, with the Prepared trait (doubles the user’s Speed), it can outspeed most opponents.
With a wide range of moves, it can also deal with Sand, Cut, Poison, and Ghost-type enemies.
The best part is that it doesn’t require Sandstorm to pop off. This makes it an ideal choice if you have only one Sand-type Coromon in your team.
The only setback is that it has a fairly low Special Defense. However, its high Speed should allow it to deal with any Special Attackers before they get the chance to attack.
This makes Kyraptor an ideal choice both for PvE and PvP battles.
