Assassin’s Creed Invades Reverse: 1999 – Free Alexios, Ezio Banner, and More in Massive Crossover Event

Reverse: 1999 is about to get a serious, almost incredible power-up, and stealth fans, this one’s for you! Bluepoch just dropped the news that Assassin’s Creed legends are slicing into the 20th Century time-travel RPG in what’s easily the game’s biggest collab yet.

Mark your calendars: August 7, 2025 is when Ezio, Kassandra, and Alexios make their debut in the mobile game, with plenty of other goodies joining them. Read on to find out what these are – and make sure to also look at the Reverse: 1999 Tier List to prepare for the event.

Who, What, and Why Should You Care?

For the first time ever, players will be able to recruit three of Ubisoft’s finest:

  • Ezio Auditore and Kassandra join the fray as limited-time banner characters (yep, gacha luck time!)
  • Alexios is a free 5-star character for everyone willing to grind through event missions. Make sure to read my tips and tricks for the game to help you get him faster.

Ezio Auditore da Firenze swaps weapons on the fly, Kassandra flexes with multiple skill trees, and all three are retooled to fit Reverse: 1999’s unique combat system and can be considered the main attractions of the event.

If you’ve been looking for a reason to dust off your account or dive in for the first time, this crossover is it.

Freebies, Pulls, and Outfits

As expected from such a major update, there are a lot of freebies to be had. I am listing them below – relisting the character, just to make sure that it’s clear that you can get him for free:

  • Alexios (5-star): Free, just play the event.
  • Free Monthly Pass: All players can claim a free monthly pass (players can get 2700 Clear Drops in total, which is 15 free pulls).
  • Free Garment: A new garment for the character APPLe will be available for free.
  • Banner Pulls: Minimum 43 free pulls for each of the Assassin’s Creed banners.
  • Extra Banner Prizes: Hit 100/160/220/280 pulls, get bonus copies of Ezio or Kassandra.

On top of that, expect new outfits for mainline Reverse: 1999 characters – think Greek gods meet hooded assassins.

The collab event features a two-part story, which will happen as follows:

  • Phase I: Team up with Assassin’s Creed II’s cast in Renaissance Florence.
  • Phase II: Join the Odyssey crew in Ancient Greece to uncover Cult of Kosmos secrets around the Acropolis of Athens. If you ever wanted to see Vertin and crew stab Templars in the back (literally), you’re in for a treat!
