Fishing is a way to earn HoloCoins outside the different stages. In this fishing guide, I will go over everything you need to know about fishing in HoloCure.
There are many different mechanics tied to fishing, and it can even help players who want to build up a hefty amount of Holocoins in order to try their luck in the character gacha.

HoloCure: Fishing Basics
Players can find a small lake to the left of the map, and interact with it. In the beginning, players are equipped with a basic fishing rod to fish with.
When you interact with the lake, players will throw your line in the water, and start the fishing minigame. This minigame has two phases.
The first phase involves getting the fish to bite the line and showing a small exclamation point corresponding to the difficulty of the second phase.
There are four exclamation point colors, that players will need to keep an eye out for.
- A yellow exclamation point is the lowest difficulty of the minigame with a handful of slow-moving inputs.
- An orange exclamation point is the medium-level difficulty of the minigame with faster-moving inputs needed to succeed.
- A single red exclamation point is the high-level difficulty of the minigame with significantly faster inputs needed to succeed.
- Three red exclamation points are the highest level of difficulty of the minigame and will test players both in terms of speed and the number of inputs needed to succeed.
The various colors also affect what kind of fish players will be able to get. Mistakes in input can result in lower duplicates of the caught fish per victory, and enough mistakes will make the fish escape.
Consecutively catching fish successfully will build up a chain combo that increases the chances of more difficult minigames being given the higher the combo is.
The higher combo will also affect the rarity, and the number of fish players will be able to catch per successful attempt. But the combo counter will reset if players fail to catch a fish.
The Bonus Fish and Speed levels both increase by 1 for every 10 combo the player has. While Speed level caps out at 7 or at 70 combos, Bonus Fish increases indefinitely with the player’s combo.
On rare occasions instead of fish players may acquire furniture from fishing, allowing them to get the furniture for free instead of having to spend HoloCoins at the construction shop.
HoloCure: Bloop and Fishing Rods
Bloop runs a stand to the north of the lake and offers a variety of services to the player.
When players familiarize themselves with the fishing mechanics and have gathered enough fish, they can go back to Bloop, and purchase a better fishing rod. He has a wide selection, and the upgrade will allow you to catch more fish.

Also keep in mind, that you can switch to older fishing rods, to have a higher chance of getting lower-rarity fish.
HoloCure: Complete Fish List and the Shiny Fish
There are 11 different types of fish players will be able to catch in the fishing pond, and they can be sold back to Bloop for Sand.
Each fish also has a Golden Variant, which is called a “Shiny” fish. These fish are more expensive and sell for a lot more Sand, than the plain variant.
Sand can be exchanged into HoloCoins at a 1:1 ratio. Meaning that 100 Sand will be converted to 100 HoloCoins.
