How to Get Bisharp
To get Kingambit, you will need to catch a specific type of Bisharp first. Catching a Pawniard and evolving it into Bisharp will not work.
Instead, players need to catch a leader Bisharp. To do that, start by traveling to the North Province (Area Two) teleport point.
From there, head toward the bamboo trees and keep your eye open for any Bisharps. Specifically, there will be two types of Bisharps available: ones that are alone and others that are surrounded by a group of Pawniards.
Players will need to catch the Bisharps surrounded by Pawniards. These, when caught, will carry an item called Leader’s Crest. Only these Bisharps can evolve into Kingambit.
To approach these Bisharps, simply go around and move in from behind them. Then, move straight ahead and you’ll end up in combat with the leader Bisharp.
Keep in mind that Bisharps that are on their own will not carry a Leader’s Crest.
How to Evolve Bisharp Into Kingambit
Now that you’ve caught a Bisharp with a Leader’s Crest, you are ready to evolve it into Kingambit.
Simply stay in the same area, set your Bisharp as your primary Pokemon, and use it to defeat other leader Bisharps.
After defeating 3 Bisharps surrounded by Pawniards, level up once and your Bisharp will evolve into Kingambit.
For this to work, it is essential to only defeat Bisharps with Pawniards around them, not the ones that are alone.
The only setback is that you’ll be fighting equally strong Pokemon with your recently-caught Bisharp and won’t have any super-effective moves to use.
To make this process easier, I recommend leveling up your Bisharp either manually or with XP candies earned by defeating raids.
