Deputy Role Guide – Ability Explained
The Deputy’s role is to kill any criminals and enemies of the Townies. Since he can shoot during the day, he’s one of the most powerful roles in the game.
However, if you end up shooting a Townie, both you and that Townie will die, which will significantly reduce the chances of the Townies winning.
Also, the Deputy has certain limitations. First, he cannot shoot on Day 1. After all, there isn’t enough evidence yet regarding who to shoot. Second, he can only shoot once during the day.
Thankfully, when he does shoot, it will be a Powerful Attack, which will take down almost any enemy.
After he shoots, his Role will be revealed to everyone.
Best Deputy Strategy in Town of Salem 2
The best Deputy strategy in Town of Salem 2 involves patience and right timing. Since you can only shoot once, it’s essential to make sure you’re shooting the right person and not a Townie.
Also, after shooting everyone will know you’re the Deputy and that you’re unable to shoot again during the day. So, you’ll be at a constant disadvantage for the rest of the game.
If you can, save your shot until the later stages of the game where there aren’t many people left. Try and work closely with Town Investigative roles to gain evidence on potential enemies to increase your chances of shooting the right target.
