Apex Girl / Top Girl: Adventure Abroad Rome Guide (Artists, Rewards & More)

The third and final major event in Top Girl (formerly Apex Girl) is Adventure Abroad: Rome. Even though it is similar to its siblings – Adventure Abroad: Tokyo and Adventure Abroad: Bali – it has a better art style, and I have to be honest – the best looking girls in my opinion.

This is why Adventure Abroad: Rome is my favorite of the three. Today, I am here to share a full guide to this major in-game event, explaining everything from its mechanics to, most importantly, the girls you can get (including photos and stats), and much more.

The Adventure Abroad is a cross-server battle/event involving several servers separated into chambers. Special Artists from global locations can be acquired here, and unique game functions are introduced during these international trips.

Warm-Up Event

Top Girl Adventure Abroad Rome Qualification Stage

The event begins with a 6-day Warm-Up period broken into 3 stages (Development, Innovation, and Promotion), lasting 48 hours each. This is followed by the Ultimate CEO event and the Slots/Race/Dice games.

Rewards include an artist (usually, a new one with each new event), resources, and Air Tickets used to travel to Rome and back to your home server.

The top 25 players of the initial event receive a SSR character as a reward. During the Warm-Up stages, the following items will earn points for you:

  • Use x1 item to upgrade car parts: 500 points

Adventure Abroad Rome Warm Up Stage

Reaching the following point thresholds will reward you with nice resources on each stage of the event:

PointsReward
500k100 Blueprint Point
2M200 Blueprint, 200 SR Collection Gems
4M1 Air Ticket, 300 Blueprint, 300 SR Collection Gems, 300 Vehicle Parts
8M1 Air Ticket, 500 SSR Collection Gems, 150 SSR Artist Promote Cards, 150 Vehicle Advance Drawings

Each of the three stages focuses on specific tasks. I recommend hoarding your resources before the event starts so you can dump them on the right day – the list above is for the final warm-up stage, and each of the previous two has its own set of items required for gaining points.

Adventure Abroad: Rome Starts – How to Play

Top girl Adventure Abroad Rome Preparation

The map is divided into several sections called Chambers. Each chamber houses many Groups from multiple servers. All members of a Chamber are considered allied and cannot attack one another, but they can attack members of other Chambers (usually from other servers).

Mountain ranges, Bridges, and Tolls are used to divide the map into outer and inner regions with several entryways into each section, similarly to the main game.

There is a Landmark in the center of the map that can be claimed by a Chamber to win the Adventure. Your Chamber may negotiate with other Chambers to either divide up the map, or you may decide to battle it out and claim the tower.

But until you get there, you have plenty of things to do – after all, worrying about unlocking UR girls and battling it all out on the map is just for a small number of all players participating in this event.

Here are the main things you can access directly from the Rome event button on the main screen:

Adventure Abroad Rome Menu

Journey

A set of rewards (you can pay for Special ones to get even more) rewarded based on how many personal points you have accumulated during the event.

You can earn these from the following actions:

  • Perform 1 time at the Pub = 20 points
  • Launch and complete 1 rally at the Arena = 60 points
  • Earn 1,500 Gold Bar in the Quarry = 1 point
  • Every 10 Investment Funds used = 1 point

Defeating enemy Fans is another method of earning points. There are caps on the maximum that can be earned using this method:

  • From 0 to 50k points, receive 1 point for every 100 fans you defeat.
  • From 50,001 to 100k points, receive 1 point for every 200 fans you defeat.
  • From 100,001 to 120k points, receive 1 point for every 300 fans you defeat.

This means 5M fans defeated clears the first threshold to earn 50k points. The next block of 50k points requires you to kill 10M fans. The final 20k points require just 6M fan kills. So you need to kill 21M fans to earn the 120k points.

On my server, a peaceful event is usually negotiated, so you have to be very active in the game to grab as many points as possible, as you need thousands of those to get the top rewards.

Calendar

Top girl Calendar Rewards

For each of the 21 days of the event, you can claim a daily price (usually Investment Funds and one extra goodie) to be spent on Trade Routes.

There are special milestone days that reward a lot more funds, so you should log in daily to collect them all, as they add up quickly and can help you unlock at least the first building to generate coins ASAP.

Operations

The Operations table includes several goals to reach for Personal, Group, and Chamber rewards. Most of the Group and Chamber rewards are locked until you reach a specific number of Personal Points.

You can see how many points you have by looking at the Journey tab (detailed above).

Trade Routes & Upgrades

Top Girl Travel Routes

This function is probably the most important part of the event, as it gives you artist boosts, extra fans, and the possibility to earn coins that you can then spend on items in the dedicated Shop.

This part is designed like a subway or train route map. Each stop on the Line accepts several passengers. Reaching passenger capacity goals rewards you with Coins and Diamonds, while hitting specific milestones gives you a massive Coin payout.

After you unlock a route, you get a set of 3 additional upgrades. One costs extra investment funds, and the other two use resources like Asset Coins, Blueprints, or Vehicle Parts.

IMPORTANT TIP: Focus first on unlocking new routes, without upgrading them. You get the most benefits early on from getting more routes unlocked than having fewer, maxed-out ones.

Plus, various other events during Adventure Abroad: Rome will also need the same resources, and usually, they’re more valuable.

Only once you have maxed out your number of routes (or reached a point that is satisfactory to you), you should work on upgrading the routes – ideally sometime during the final week of the event.

Also, start upgrading the lines from your latest unlocked one towards the first, as those give you better boosts.

Group Decrees

The Decree system was originally introduced in the first Top Girl (Apex Girl) Adventure Abroad: Rome event, and it still exists today with few modifications.

This is a powerful tool for your alliance, allowing R4/R5 Group members to activate various buffs that affect all members in the group for a set period of time (usually 8 hours).

Decrees may be activated after the Group collects sufficient Decree Coins from Landmarks and other Map Locations.

Map Guide & Important Locations

Rome’s map in Top Girl is very similar to the regular map of the game, meaning that you have the main building in the very center of the map, with various other key locations surrounding it and requiring the capture of bridges for progression.

map in Adventure Abroad Rome in Top Girl aka Apex Girl

The more locations you and your Chamber control, the better. These include the Roman Agent Gig, Roman Concert, Roman Stadium, Roman Hotel, and Roman Group Hotel, but also the Landmarks important, because they give you the best rewards (including UR girls).

Speaking of which, make sure to check out my guide to all UR Girls in Top Girl here.

Landmarks

These are the most important parts on the map, and controlling as many as possible is usually the main goal of each chamber.

The best part is that you don’t have to be actively involved in capturing them to reap the benefits.

Here is a breakdown of the Chamber and Contribution rewards for the standard landmarks on the Rome map:

Landmark TierChamber RewardContribution Reward
Tier 1400 Funds, 150 DiamondsN/A
Tier 2600 Funds, 200 DiamondsN/A
Tier 3600 Funds, 200 Diamonds6k Funds, Tefey Necklace, 2k Diamonds
Tier 4800 Funds, 250 Diamonds8k Funds, Golden Ring, 2.5k Diamonds
Tier 51k Funds, 300 Diamonds10k Funds, Golden Necklace, 3k Diamonds
Tier 61.5k Funds, 400 Diamonds15k Funds, Lotus Zi, 4k Diamonds
Tier 72k Funds, Catya Watch, 500 DiamondsN/A
Tier 85k Funds, 1k Diamonds50k Funds, Parade White Horse, 10k Diamonds

UR Landmarks

The level 5 Temple Landmarks house UR artists. They are also available to all members of a chamber that captures the building regardless of participation.

However, there is a solid incentive to try and actively participate in capturing these landmarks, as those who contribute will receive exclusive rewards.

For example, a typical Contribution Reward includes 8k Funds, Golden Earrings, and 2.5k Diamonds, while the Chamber Reward is 800 Funds and 250 Diamonds.

Adventure Abroad: Rome Limited Accessories

You can pick up some excellent limited accessories during this event. I highly recommend equipping these to your top artists for massive stat boosts:

  • Golden Ring: Dancing +781, Fan Cap +1k, Finance Up +600k.
  • Golden Earrings: Management +312, Fan Cap 1k, Finance Up +600k.
  • Golden Necklace: Singing +781, Fan Cap +1k, Finance Up 600k.
  • Parade White Horse: Singing +3906, Fan Cap +2k, Finance Up +4M.

Truck Clash

Adventure Abroad Rome Truck Clash

A feature I always like in the Adventure Abroad events in Top Girl is the Truck Clash minigame.

This gives you the chance to play another waiting game, fighting other players and getting plenty of resources in the process, including premium resources required to level up your buildings in the dedicated Rome section.

You can conduct 4 Truck Transports each day, each transport requiring a team of girls for protection, and each truck being of a different rarity level (rarest ones giving better loot).

These trucks can be plundered (aka attacked) by other players for a maximum of 4 times per truck, but players from the same chamber can’t plunder trucks from their allies.

Also, you can only plunder 4 times each day, with each plunder (if won), giving you a random resource transported by the truck.

Adventure Abroad: Rome Artists & Unique Rewards

Probably the most important thing brought by such a massive multi-server event is the new set of Artists.

Previous Adventure Abroad: Rome events brought in plenty of new girls (like the SSRs Daphne, Eirene, Xenia, Calliope, and Ariadne), but this particular one has just two new artists: Octavia and Flora (amazing ones nevertheless).

Beyond the artists, you can also grab some amazing cosmetics related to ancient times. The HQ Skin Romanesque Arcade and Vehicle Skin Trojan War Chariot are both available as possible rewards for top-tier players.

Top Girl – Adventure Abroad: Rome Girls

Let’s take a look at the girls introduced by this latest event, including the UR girls you can capture for the limited duration of the event itself, and also a big bonus for you at the end (some of the Artists that were previously available to be unlocked).

Let’s start with the new ones you can get during this round of Adventure Abroad: Rome:

Octavia

Flora is described as the best EDM artist in the game, she looks absolutely amazing and has great stats and skills:

Conclusion

The Adventure Abroad Rome event in Top Girl (or Apex Girl, since many of us still call it by that name) is a great one if you’re active, in a solid Group and spend your resources and time correctly.

You have all the information you need to get the most out of it, but if you have additional questions about the event itself or the girls, don’t hesitate to ask down below.

Also, if you have additional advice for fellow players, it’s greatly appreciated if you share your thoughts. And also make sure to keep an eye on my Top Girl (Apex Girl) Wiki Hub here to learn everything you should know about this game.
