Even though Apex Girl recently changed its name back to Top Girl, one thing didn’t change: the awesomeness of the Adventure Abroad: Bali event.
It is a massive 21-day grind, with new, unique Artists to be won, and all sorts of amazing challenges to conquer alone, but also together with your group and even the entire server you’re on.
Today, I am here to share the latest about Top Girl’s Adventure Abroad: Bali, so that you can get the most out of this amazing event. There’s a lot to learn and read – but I guarantee you’ll love it! Let’s begin!
Note: Scroll to the end of the article for the new girls from this latest season!
Overview & Bali Map Guide

You can only access these travel maps after the Burj Khalifa has been captured on your server. Since many servers in Top Girl (Apex Girl) are already old, this shouldn’t be a problem – and you’re probably not at your first Bali event.
Actually, as you probably know, this isn’t the only event of this type. If you want to learn about the other ones, read my Top Girl – Adventure Abroad: Tokyo Guide or the Top Girl – Adventure Abroad: Rome Guide.
Either way, the event begins after a lengthy warm-up period is completed, and once it begins, it transports you to a brand new map where you will be facing people from other servers, but also mechanics unique to the event itself.
So, everything begins with…
The Warm-Up Event Stages

This is a three-stage mini-event that lasts for a two-day period. Your goal here is to hit 8 million points to earn all individual reward tiers.
You will also earn Air Tickets, which are required to travel to Bali once it opens up 7 days later.
Ranking high in the Warm-up Event can earn you a unique SSR girl – in the latest event, this was Vivienne. However, in the past seasons, the SSR was Sari, and SSR Dewi came before her.
Lean how to unlock all girls in the game after you’re done reading this guide.
In preparation for the Warm-up Event and for Adventure Abroad: Bali itself, you should hoard some important items. These include Gold Bars (worth 1 point each), Glass or Wood (500 to 2k points), Records (50k points), Vehicle parts, Advance Drawings, Asset Coins, Girls Promote Cards, and Gifts.
For example, if you upgrade a Shop for 700k Gold, that translates directly into 700k points for this stage. Gold alone could cover half your required points depending on your strategy.
Rewards are static between the three stages and do not change and, truth be told, you shouldn’t worry too much about this part of the game – as long as you are at least moderately active, you will be able to travel to Bali in Top Girl!
Here are the Warm-up Stage requirements and rewards:
Stage 1: Development
You earn points for specific activities during this stage. You will mostly use Glass, Wood, Blueprints, and HQ Cards.
| Goal | Reward |
| Earn 500k points | 100 Blueprint Points |
| Earn 2m points | 200 Blueprint Points, 200 SR Collection Gems |
| Earn 4m points | 300 Vehicle Upgrade Parts, 300 Blueprint Points, 300 SR Collection Gems, 1 Air Ticket |
| Earn 8m points | 1 Air Ticket, 500 SSR Collection Gems, 150 SSR Girls Promote Card, 150 Vehicle Advance Drawing |
Stage 2: Innovation
Car Parts, Spark Plugs, Advance Drawings, and Interview or Demo items are used here.
| Goal | Reward |
| Earn 500k points | Rewards to be confirmed |
| Earn 2m points | Rewards to be confirmed |
| Earn 4m points | Rewards to be confirmed |
| Earn 8m points | Rewards to be confirmed |
Stage 3: Promotion
Asset Coins, Promote Cards, Private Photos, and Collection Gems will carry you through this final prep stage.
| Goal | Reward |
| Earn 500k points | Rewards to be confirmed |
| Earn 2m points | Rewards to be confirmed |
| Earn 4m points | Rewards to be confirmed |
| Earn 8m points | Rewards to be confirmed |
Traveling to Bali in Top Girl: The Basics

After the Warm-up concludes, Bali opens up for exploration – travel to it first from the dedicated menu and for the next 21 days, you will be playing on a different map with different people.
The main goal here is to occupy the landmark buildings scattered around the map. Capturing these will earn you substantial rewards, just like in the base game. The ultimate target for any serious player is the Grand Palace.
The world map is divided into different landing areas called Chambers. Everyone inside a Chamber is allied and cannot attack one another. The people in the same chamber share territories and help each other, even if they are not in the same group.
I always advise checking your chat log or mail during the starting stages of this event. Group Leaders of the main groups will likely have already come up with a tactical plan for the event map.
You can only participate in building when your CEO’s company HQ and Group buildings are in the exact same area.
You also gain access to the exclusive Island Operation event here. This section provides various challenge quests that hand out a lot of rewards. Make sure you clear these out daily (more on this below).
Managing your economy gets a bit trickier in this phase. A new stock market opens on the Bali map, but the original stock market is retained on your current server – however, you can only deal with the one in the Bali event, starting from scratch.
To learn how to maximize profits here, I recommend reading my previous Top Girl Stock Market Guide.
If you need to return to the regular map for any reason during the event, you can use the Air Tickets you earned in the Warm-Up Event to travel back and forth. But the cost of travel increases with each trip.
Just keep in mind that after Adventure Abroad ends, everyone will automatically return to the original server.
Best Strategy for Free-to-Play vs Pay-to-Win
Before we get deeper into the specifics, you should know that the players who can spend some real cash will have, as always, a sligth advantage.
If you are a free-to-play user, your energy limitations will be your biggest hurdle, so you must prioritize the Tourist Routes. I found this to be the easiest way to earn the coins needed to get an SSR Artist from the Abroad Shop without spending real money.
Also, being at least moderately active is a must – logging in once per day is the best approach, but if you can log in twice or more, it’s even better as you can maximize your gains.
If you are willing to spend, you can dominate the Journey Open tasks and the Beauty Slot Machine – the latter being the easiest way to get another free artist (more on this below).
To learn all about the strategy you should know, I recommend reading my Top Girl/Apex Girl wiki here.
Event Menu & Tourist Routes

The main menu page for the Bali event displays several core functions. You have Operations, Journey Open, Calendar, Rankings, Tourist Routes, and the Bali Store.
Operations & Rankings
Operations consist of milestones you can achieve while exploring the map and taking part in the event.
Completing these objectives rewards you with Diamonds and smaller resources.
Achievements for your Group and Chamber become available to all present players as long as they reach specific individual milestone points. This format mirrors the Ultimate Group event.
The Rankings leaderboard is specific to this map. Rewards are distributed for Personal, Group, and Chamber achievements.
Journey Open
This is a 21-day event spanning the entirety of the Adventure Abroad map. You receive rewards for completing generic tasks.
Both a free tier and a paid tier costing around $25 USD (or local currency equivalent) are available. You can earn personal points daily for specific tasks.
| Task | Points |
| Perform 1 time at the Dance Plaza | 20 |
| Launch and complete 1 rally at the Zoo | 60 |
| Earn 1.5k Gold Bars in the Eco Resort | 1 |
| For every 100 to 1,000 fans defeated (Max: 120k points) | 1 |
| Every 10 Investment Funds used | 1 |
Considering your strict energy limitations, it will likely be necessary to engage in PvP to rank high in this portion.
Calendar
This function lists 21-point goals for each day. Day 1 requires just 100 points and is very simple to complete, but the upcoming ones are equally easy as long as you are at least moderately active during the event.
Your rewards here consist of Diamonds and Investment Funds, with Day 14 rewards being a whopping 4K Diamonds and 5K funds, for example.
Tourist Routes & Additional Investment

On the routes page, you invest in a subway system that includes stops for tourists. You use your collected Investment Funds to purchase upgrades for these routes so they can carry more passengers. There are 8 total routes available to build up.
Investing here also provides a massive boost to your girls’ Singing, Dance, and Management stats. But keep in mind that these are only effective during this Adventure Abroad, so it’s best to keep those resources for unlocking as many stations as possible.
This is a must because the permanent buildings (available even after Bali ends) will give you more Asset Coins the more stations you have unlocked, as you will unlock more jobs thisway.
Here are the details on each route and the additional investments you can make in each:
| Route | Additional Investments |
| G | Gold Bars and R Promotion Cards |
| M | Blueprint Points and SR Promotion Cards |
| H | HQ Cards and Vehicle Parts |
| T | Asset Coins and Vehicle Advance Drawings |
| C | R and SR Promotion Cards |
| Y | Blueprint Points and Gold Bars |
| Z | HQ Cards and Asset Coins |
| N | Vehicle Parts and Advance Drawings |
Truck Clash

A new addition for this season of Adventure Abroad: Bali is the Truck Clash, another mini-game of sorts that gives you the chance to play a waiting game, fighting other players and getting plenty of resources.
You can conduct 4 Truck Transports each day, each transport requiring a team of girls for protection.
These trucks can be plundered (aka attacked) by other players for a maximum of 2 times per truck, but players from the same chamber can’t plunder trucks from the same chamber.
Also, you can only plunder 4 times each day, with each plunder (if won), giving you a random resource transported by the truck.
Photo Exchange
If you run low on Investment Funds, you can trade extra girls’ photos for more capital. You are limited to a maximum of 100 photo exchanges each day, but only specific girls are accepted (not regular girls, even if they are SSR).
| Rarity | Value | Daily Limit |
| Rare | 50 each | 2,500 |
| Super Rare | 100 each | 5,000 |
| Special Super Rare | 200 each | 10,000 |
Exchanging the maximum on each event day will cost you 1,050 photos. This earns you 52.5k funds for Rare, 105k for Super Rare, or 210k total for SSR across the entire event, but only specific photos are accepted.
The Beauty Slot Machine

The Beauty Slot Machine mini-game is probably the easiest way for you to get a SSR, guaranteed. After a set number of spins (15 in the last case), you get a free Bali-themed girl (Dewi in this latest event).
And the best part is that you get 1 free spin per day, so even as a complete free-to-play player, you can still get her.
However, you can purchase additional spins with Diamonds – 750 Diamonds for one spin, and these are relatively easy to hoard up before the event (and during it). So take advantage of this offer to score one top girl in the game!
Speaking of which, make sure to also look at my article listing the Best Girls in Top Girl / Apex Girl.
Good to know every spin nets you 37.5k points in the Vehicle stage of the Ultimate CEO event. Doing 15 spins guarantees your SSR girl and earns you a massive 562,500 points in the main event, so you get a lot more bang for your buck.
The Grand Palace

I mentioned earlier that the ultimate target of the Adventure Abroad map is the Grand Palace.
Capturing this massive central landmark requires absolute coordination from your entire chamber – and you’ll be competing against other chambers for it, so it’s definitely just for the top players in the event.
Securing this hub showers your group with the best rewards the event has to offer, but it’s not the final goal as you might think. I have to admit that my chamber never owned the Grand Palace and I was still extremely happy with Adventure Abroad: Bali overall.
The Bali Shop & Top Rewards

As you play through the event, you will accumulate Commemorative Coins. You spend these in the Bali Shop for limited items.
The first focus should be on unlocking the SSR girl available in the store. This time, it was Vivienne. In previous events, you could get Moana and Ningshi. Either way, getting the girl is a must.
Here is a complete breakdown of what you can buy and how much it costs.
| Item | Cost | Limit |
| Vivienne | 10k | 1 |
| Vivienne’s Private Photos | 100 | 6,000 |
| Universal SSR Photo | 100 | 500 |

| Blueprint Point | 3 | 10k |
| Vehicle Upgrade Parts | 3 | 10k |
| Vehicle Advance Drawing | 15 | 2,000 |
| Glass | 3 | 20k |
| SR Girls Promote Card | 9 | 4,000 |
| SSR Girls Promote Card | 24 | 2,000 |
| SSR Collection Gem | 6 | 5,000 |
| SR Collection Gem | 3 | 10k |
| Promo Manual | 750 | 200 |
| City Transfer Ticket | 5,000 | 15 |
Beyond the shop, you want to aim for the top ranks. The highest-ranked players receive exclusive items like a new HQ Skin, a Vehicle Skin, and a custom Avatar Frame.
I highly suggest saving your best resources if you want to push for these leaderboard prizes – but only if you feel you have a true chance, as you’ll mostly be competing against players who are both extremely active and spend quite a bit of real money in the game.
Characters: SSR & UR Girls
I kept the best – or at least the eye candy – for last.
The first several seasons of Bali introduced players to Moana and a few other unique girls that could only be obtained through this event. These include Ningshi, Dewi, and Lestari among may others.
This time, we got some new amazing girls – some of which I’ve already mentioned below. Here they are:
Vivienne

She is part of the Lemora group, a SSR Dancer with Rock as the main genre. A very good artist overall, and among the easiest to get and level up since you can unlock her in the Store and also buy new photos of her from there.
Dewi

Another SSR that’s easy to unlock if you are active, as she comes as a guaranteed reward from the machine this season. Not as easy to promote, but perfect to have in your squad.
Ningsih

A dancer with Hip Hop as her main genre, I also found her extremely easy to get photos her to boost her skills.
Other SSR girls included in the Adventure Abroad: Bali event are:
- Sari: EDM – Vocalist
- Lestari: Pop – Vocalist
- limited-time UR girls that are only active during the event. Read my guide to UR girls here.
I didn’t get a chance to unlock these girls this time, so I can’t give you the eye candy or stats – but if you’d like me to detail the skills of the three above, let me know and I will update the guide.
