Apex Girl Stock Market Guide: Maximize Your Profits

The stock market feature in Apex Girl (aka Top Girl) seems just as complicated as real-life trading. That is, until you fully understand how it works – starting then, it’s not just straightforward and easy, but also a solid source of money.

Today, I will share a complete guide to the stock market feature, so that you can easily understand it and maximize your profits to get some of those amazing rewards from the related store. Trust me, it’s easier than it seems at first!

The Stock Level Matters The Most

Once a group is listed in the stock market (something done by the Chairman of the group – and I won’t go into the details), its price will increase or decrease based on some very specific rules.

These rules decide the Stock Level, which is always public and easy to anticipate for the future. In the screenshot below, it’s the golden bar under the “Latest Price” of each stock:

Once that score reaches the amount required for a level up (500 points at level 1 or 2,000 at level 10), when the regular price updates happen, the price of the stock will increase.

All stocks start with a base price of 500 and can go up into the thousands, being capable of increasing up to level 12 (or at least that’s the maximum I saw).

While stocks have little to do (at least directly) with the artists you have signed, they are an important part of the game. I recommend reading about the best Artists in Apex Girl here, and learn how to unlock UR girls here.

How to increase the stock level

Whenever a group member performs a specific action, it gains points for their stock score. These are regular actions in the game, such as:

  • Earn in hotel (1 point for each member who earns at least 6,000 gold in a hote)
  • Record single (1 point for each Lvl. 6 and above single recorded by group members)
  • Kill Fans (+1 point for each 10,000 fans destroyed by group members from other groups)

The most important, active action that a group member can and should perform to increase that group’s stock level is using Invest Plans to increase the stock points. Each Invest Plan gives +50 points, and is usually obtained by using the trade option seen in the screenshot below, under the “Invest” option:

You can only trade three times each day with any group and each trade takes 5 minutes to complete. Then, you can use the Invest Plans on your own group or any group to which you want to gift 50 points.

Ideally, all group members should use this feature each day on their own group in order to increase its value. To make sure that everybody does their job, I recommend reading my Apex Girl tips and tricks (and share them with your group too!)

Also, group-specific actions can give or take points from the stock score:

  • Group Develop (+500 points when the group’s level increases by 1)
  • Demolish (-20 points for each club removed/lost by the group)

How to maximize your profits

No matter which group you’re part of, there are a few important things you can do to ensure you get maximum gains from your investments in Apex Girl. Here is what you should do:

1. Early on, invest in your Server’s top groups

These groups are the most active and usually, their stock goes up A LOT – from the original 500 to 6,000+ by the end of each run.

Even if you’re not in their group, you can still buy stocks there (as long as there are some stocks left). I’ve never seen, so far, stocks running out, so you should be fine.

2. Keep an eye on the Stock’s Level

When the top group’s stock prices go up and you no longer have enough money to buy them, you can still increase your profits by a ton by keeping an eye on secondary groups that are active and especially about to level up.

These are the groups ranked 5-8 in the game, but also the ones that are not extremely active, but their gold bar is about to fill up. Buy right before the bar fills up, buy early during the event, and you will at least double your investments.

3. Invest in your group

If you know that your group is at least relatively active and you have at least 5 people doing the maximum of 3 trades daily, you can safely invest in your group when the price is low – ideally, between 500 and 1,000. The price will at least double, based on regular gameplay.

4. Pro tip: Buy & Sell

If the Stock END countdown is close to ending and you still have purchases left, but also a stock with high profits and one about to increase in value, it’s a smart thing to sell some of the stock you have profits in and buy the one about to increase.

This way, you guarantee double profits: first from the stock you sold, second from the stock you bought the new shares in. This works especially if you have no money left, but daily purchases.

To learn everything this game has to offer, I recommend reading the Apex Girl wiki page here on Common Sense Gamer.

When not to buy stocks from a group

When there’s just 1-2 days left in the current Stock Exchange run, it’s best to focus on those smaller groups that are about to increase their level.

Groups that are already at a high level and slowly gaining points are less likely to increase at least one level, so that you can get any sort of profit.

Hoard Your Money

You only receive 2,000 free coins each day to invest in the Stock Market in Apex Girl. While you will quickly at least double the money you have, don’t spend any in the Stock Store until you end a Stock Market Countdown with plenty of money.

This is the signal that you have enough to start spending in the store. Otherwise, you can put those coins to good use in the market itself and double, triple, or quadruple them.

You will only need 2-3 runs through a complete Stock Season to get there, so be a bit patient and afterwards you’ll have all the money needed to make important purchases.

And this would be the guide for today! If you still want to learn more tricks, I recommend reading my guide to teleporting in Apex Girl, or the one explaining how to unlock all Artists quickly.
