Apex Girl/Top Girl: Ultra Rare Girls Guide

Ultra Rare girls are not just extremely powerful in Top Girl (formerly Apex Girl), but they also get unlocked and work using a different method than all the other girls in the game.

And since they’re such an important addition to your lineup, I have this guide today to tell you everything you should know about them.

There are currently 9 UR Artists in the main game in Top Girl (also called “Superstars” in the lineup screen) and you can only unlock them together with your group.

They are linked to the other regular girls you have, and that decides their level, and the saddest part is that you can also lose them. There are also event-specific UR Artists which can only be unlocked (and used) during the Adventure Abroad: Tokyo or Adventure Abroad: Bali events.

First, let’s see which are the 9 Ultra Rare girls in the game and what their favorite genres/moves are – keep in mind that you have more details and photos at the end of the article.

Which of these girls is the best? Well, the truth is that they all are, as “best” highly depends on the type of single you’re recording.

For example, Marguerite is the best in the game for R&B singles (like Mirth or Twirl), while Isadora is the best for EDM singles like Whirl or Swoop.

No matter which girl or girls you get, as long as they are UR, they will give you amazing boosts to the quality of the singles, as they all have amazing base stats and skills.

Unlocking UR Girls in Top Girl / Apex Girl

Unlike the other girls in the game which can be unlocked as you play the game, these can only be unlocked and kept if three conditions are met:

• First, the Landmark holding the respective girl must be unlocked on your server (these unlock after a set number of days).
• Second, the Group you are part of must occupy the said Landmark (more can be occupied by the same group)
• Third, your Group must hold onto that landmark.

To see the actual Landmarks on the map, go to the world map in the game and zoom out until the “Landmarks” button appears in the upper right side of the screen. Tap it and zoom to each Landmark from there.

This is the only way to unlock UR/Superstar girls. To make sure you increase your chances of getting them, you must be part of one of the strongest groups on the server and read my tips and tricks for the game.

How these girls work

After unlocking any of these girls, they will be paired with one of the top girls you already have unlocked.

In my case, as you can see below, Marguerite was paired with Zendaya, who was my best at the moment of unlocking the UR girl:

The level of the UR girl will be forever tied to the level of the girl she’s tied with. If you increase that original girl’s level, the UR girl will automatically increase her level as well.

This is why it’s a good idea to have at least one maxed-out girl, to ensure that you get the most from any UR girl you unlock.

Now, after unlocking the UR girl and getting her automatically paired with one of your existing ones, she will work similarly to regular girls: she has skills that unlock (based on the linked girl’s unlocked skills) and you can also give her gifts to further boost her stats.

You can – and should – use these girls in all your singles and teams in the game, as they offer massive benefits.

The biggest problem is that they can be lost: if your group loses control of the Landmark offering that particular girl, she will be removed from your lineup.

Most likely, the gifts you gave her will be returned to your inventory, but since I haven’t gone through losing any UR girls yet, I am not sure if that’s really the case. I will update the article when I find out for sure (or you can let me know if you know).

As Lead Dancer, artist has a 30% chance each turn to boost her dance points by a huge amount.

Gabriella

Type: Vocalist – Rock

Skill 1: Tone Leader

When recording singles, artist has a 20% chance to boost every member’s singing points.

Skill 2: Vocal Tone Guide

As Lead Vocalist, artist has a 30% chance each turn to boost her teammates’ singing points.

Skill 3: Rock Tone Leader

When recording Rock Singles, artist has a 40% chance each turn to boost every member’s singing points.
