The Knight is the main tank in Task Bar Hero, and a great choice for most builds. While he can deal some damage, his main task is, as with all tanks, to soak up damage from the enemy, while your ranged damage dealers destroy them.
As a tank, the best Knight build revolves around increasing his survivability: you want to max out his armor and health, and eventually switch over to life leech and healing.
Below, I will share my recommended build, from the early stages to the Nightmare acts, with explanations and tips for progression along the way. Let’s begin!
Best Knight Build in Task Bar Hero

The max level for the knight is, right now, 80. This means that you get up to 80 skill points to invest into the various options that you unlock as he levels up.
Most of those options are useless, including most of the skills – since you can only have a maximum of two equipped at all times.
For items, always choose the best available (DUH!). Jokes aside, this is basically it: you need an item that is as rare as possible, but also of a matching level. If your knight is level 25, but wears level 1 gloves, his stats are much worse than the same character with level 20 gloves.
As for Decorating and Engraving, check the materials you have on hand and focus on upgrades that increase his health and armor, with a secondary focus on damage dealing, and even life leech.

Early to mid-game build

Early on, the Knight should focus on the classic tank role: maximize armor and health, and that’s basically it. The main build is this (up to level 25):
- Max Out both skills: Piercing Thrust and Shield Charge (the main ways he deals damage and the only useful ones for a while)
- Invest in Health Enhancement and Armor Enhancement equally, then start putting some points into HP Regen, depending on the Act and Stage you’re at.
When you are farming and not actively progressing through the Acts (which is probably most of the game), you should switch your focus on Damage Dealing, so max out the Attack Damage Enhancement.
The reason why you do this is that when farming, you want your Knight (and team overall) to complete the level as quickly as possible – the faster they go through it, the more gold, XP and chests you get.
Mid to late-game build
As you progress, armor and plenty of health won’t be enough, as the Knight will receive sustained damage, especially from the “wall” stages (like 2-8, 3-7 and so on).
This is when you start optimizing for life leech and healing in combination with what we did above.
This means that you switch completely from damage-dealing skills to survival based ones (Aegis Field maxed out, as well as the one with the sword under it).
Max out the Health and Armor Enhancements, as well as Health Regen. HP Per Kill is also something you need, and once you start fighting more elemental heroes (those that deal fire damage, for example), you should start investing in the corresponding Elemental Damage Resistance.
One thing where you have to decide how you want to tackle things is the Block Chance Increase. I personally don’t invest much into it, as it is luck-based.
If you have free skill points, or really want to – put some into this, but otherwise, focus on his overall survivalability instead through things you can control (armor, health, and life leech).
Wrapping Up
Building the perfect Knight character in TBH: Taskbar Hero is important and relatively straightforward. Just remember that he’s not the main damage dealer, but the wall that keeps your damage dealers safe.
If you’re a F2P player, he’s also essential for your starting setup, alongside the Priest and Ranger, so building him the right way will save you a lot of headaches.
