However, there is an optimal deck that will help grab the win more often than not, but you’ll be required to tweak here and there as well as make use of the Rental features of Splinterlands.

I’ll be sharing the most efficient and powerful cards from certain Splinters, so that you know which cards to go for while facing an opponent.

Best Cards in Fire Splinter

If you’re fully focusing on a Fire Deck, I wouldn’t entirely discourage you. Fire Splinter is quite efficient when it comes to the lower leagues and can seamlessly win you games against opponents with ghost decks.

I’d suggest going for Pyre as your Summoner Card. The +1 increase in speed not only improves mobility, it also gives your monsters the ability to dodge enemy attacks better.

It’s the better Summoner than Malric Inferno, except for when the ruleset is Reverse Speed.

The best Tank monster for Fire Splinter is the Living Lava, since it provides amazing defensive support to the team in all the rulesets in the Bronze leagues.

Next up in line should be a monster with the Reach ability, such as the Magma Troll. Giant Roc may also be a good option, depending on how much Mana you spend.

After that, the Opportunity ability of Serpentine Spy card is an important addition, especially when Pyre is the Summoner. With the boost in speed, it can make quick kills from the middle.

Along with these, Fineas Rage and Molten Ogre are a great choice of cards.

Cerebrus and Kobold Miner are a few other notable Fire monsters that may help you increase your win rate.

Best Cards in Earth Splinter

Focusing your deck on Earth cards takes the cake for me! The Earth decks are extremely efficient and powerful in the Bronze leagues.

Mylor Crowling should be your one and only choice from the Summoner cards in the Earth deck.

The Thorns ability that the monsters in your team will receive as a result of employing Mylor Crowling as the Summoner will greatly boost the team, since you’re dealing damage even when taking damage from the enemy monsters.

To maximize that, go for the strongest Tank monster in the Earth Splinter, which is the Unicorn Mustang with 10 health! If you’re looking to save up on some Mana, Stone Golem is the next best choice.

For the backline, Earth Elemental can be quite an impressive monster card to go for since it’s great both defensively and offensively.

Apart from the above, you can go for Goblin Sorcerer and Screeching Vulture as the Monster options in the middle.

Goblin Sorcerer can work great with the Sneak ability and make quick eliminations, while Screeching Vulture can grab those low-health kills paired with the Flying ability.

I’d also add the Flesh Golem and Wood Nymph as the other notable Earth Deck monsters.

Best Cards in Life Splinter

The Life Deck can bring you fair success if you can build the combos right. The abilities of the monsters are quite varied in the Life Deck, which gives you all sorts of options for combos.

Lorna Shine is a great choice for the Summoner card in the Life deck. The Divine Shield provided to the friendly monsters will definitely take the team a long way defensively.

In addition to that, Shieldbearer is important to provide even more defensive stability, especially against enemy monsters with Opportunity ability. Even though he’s a tank, he can be positioned anywhere.

Armorsmith can play a significant part when the Lost Magic ruleset is being played. Silvershield Assassin and Crystal Werewolf are the monsters to boost your offensive stats.

On the other hand, Divine Healer and Feral Spirit will provide further defensive stability.

I’ll be skipping Water, Death, and Dragon decks for Beginners. These decks aren’t that effective in the Bronze leagues and won’t cause any significant improvement in your team’s performance.

However, Sea Monster, Sea Genie, and Medusa are great monster cards from the Water deck. The Summoner cards aren’t quite useful in the Bronze leagues.

Since monsters don’t have debuffs in the Bronze leagues, the Death deck is useful only when you play it according to the enemy deck. The Death Summoner cards may help to eliminate Magic and Melee attacks from the enemy monsters.

Dragon cards are relatively much more expensive than the other cards, and I wouldn’t suggest beginners to go there.

Optimal Deck for Beginners in Splinterlands

On their website, navigate to the Summoners section under Rentals option.

I should tell you that if you get a better deal for renting monsters in Splinterlands elsewhere, go for it! But, do ensure the legitimacy of the website and service.  

From the Summoners, narrow down your options to the Life deck and find Lorna Shine. She’ll be the Summoner for this deck build.

You should decide on any duration you like and how you want to rent the card – DEC or Credits – in order to gain access to the abilities of Lorna Shine.

The first monsters of the team should have the ability to counter the magic attacks initiated by the enemy monsters. For that reason, Crystal Werewolf is a great choice.

If you notice that the enemy isn’t using characters with magic attacks, Crystal Jaguar and Cerberus should do a decent enough job!

The second in line can be a well-armored tank that will support the offensive unit, which we’ll deploy later on.

Warrior of Peace does this job really well with multiple defensive abilities and high health. The Unicorn Mustang can be a good alternative!

You may also exchange positions between the first and second monsters, depending on the offense of the opponent.

While the monster for the third position may be somewhat unconventional, it can give you the required edge in close-call games. Go for Creeping Ooze, which comes with just 1 Mana Cost but a great ability in Slow.

The next couple of positions will be taken up by the maximum damage dealers in your team, so it’s important to choose these wisely. Lone Boatman and Silvershield Archers are great choices if you’re short on Mana.

If the Mana cap is large, Silvershield Sheriff and Evangelist are core monsters that I’d definitely suggest you opt for.

The Air Elemental will take up the last position in the team, mainly because it’s an amazing counter to the enemy monsters with Sneak abilities. The damage and movement stats are top-notch too!

This simple deck should easily earn you wins and rack up your win rate. Moreover, it goes without saying that, you can play around this deck by adding monsters as you wish and trying these out in battles.
