In this weapon tier list, I will go over the best weapon in the game, for Soul Eater Resonance.
Soul Eater Resonance is an anime-inspired Roblox game, based on the popular Soul Eater manga series. Building on the main story beats of the manga, the game tries to capitalize on the characters’ unique strengths.
The main thing we see in the series is the concept of Meisters and Weapons.
Meisters are special humans that form contracts and wield weapons to complete missions and fights.
On the other hand, Weapons are anthropomorphic weaponry that can turn into certain weapons. They are also able to turn into weapons and fight without the need for a Meister partner.

Soul Eater Resonance: Tier List Overview

Before jumping into the rankings, a few things you need to know to get the most out of this list.
This tier list is based on a Meister and Weapon combination. Meisters offer unique bonuses to Weapons, such as the ability to unlock their full moveset.
While Solo, Weapons have 2 distinct abilities. When partnered with a Meister, they gain an additional three, for a total of five usable combat abilities.
Weapons also come in four rarities: Common, Rare, Legendary, and Fabled. I’ll call out each weapon’s rarity as we go, because it directly affects how hard you’ll need to spin to get what you want.
Afterward, I will go over the best Weapons more in-depth so you will know what the weapons that stand on top have to offer players who get them by spinning.
| Weapon Tiers | Weapons |
| S | Death Sniper, Excalibur, Halberd, Scythe |
| A | Blunderbuss, Elemental Fists, Mjolnir |
| B | Chain Blades, Demon Twin Guns |
As with any tier list if you enjoy using a weapon that may be placed lower than you think it deserves it doesn’t matter.
The game is meant to be enjoyed with what you want to use. Have fun with the different combinations, check out what each weapon has to offer both Solo, and with a Meister, and then decide.
Knowing which ones are accepted by the community as the best will help, but it is not meant to limit you in how you go about playing the game.
Soul Eater Resonance: The Resonance Mechanic
Before getting into the weapons, I want to explain the Resonance mechanic, and why it matters when deciding which weapon to focus on.
When bonded to a Meister, holding right-click brings up a Resonance mini-game. Pull it off successfully and your Meister gets a 20% damage buff. But if you miss a key, your Meister takes damage instead.
There are three types of Resonance, each active only while the resonance window is open: Attack, Healer, and Speed.
You’ll see whichever is active as an aura on your Meister. Knowing which type you have changes how you and your Meister should be playing that specific fight.
It’s also worth understanding that the Resonance buff directly amplifies your weapon’s damage output, which means the higher the base damage of your weapon, the more valuable a clean Resonance execution becomes.
That’s one more reason why the S-tier picks below sit where they do. Speaking of which, let’s get right into them!
Soul Eater Resonance: S-Tier Weapon Death Sniper

The Death Sniper excels at long-range combat, boasting the longest range in the game.
When partnered with a Meister here are the abilities you will be able to utilize.
| Buttons | Name | Ability |
|---|---|---|
| E | Hyper Frost Scope | Shoots a large ice spike, dealing more damage than an m1. |
| R | Icey-Rend | Shoots a ball of ice, freezing your target. |
| F | Frost-Sickle | Shoot a ball of ice that creates a large glacier that freezes and deals Damage Over Time. |
| V | Chill-Round | Shoot a ball of ice that creates a large freezing AOE, and deals Damage Over Time. |
| T | Glacier Burst | Shoot a ball of ice that creates a large glacier that freezes and deals Damage Over Time. |
Soul Eater Resonance: S-Tier Weapon Excalibur

The Excalibur excels at close/mid-range combat, boasting the best damage in the game.
When partnered with a Meister here are the abilities you will be able to utilize.
| Buttons | Name | Ability |
|---|---|---|
| E | Exorcism | The user creates a giant gust of wind before splitting the ground in front of them with a mighty slash. |
| R | Spiritchaser | The user dashes forward, if they hit an opponent they will briefly stun lock them in a combo while emitting large AOE gusts of wind. |
| F | Holy Flight | The user jumps in the air while emitting homing swords of light that track nearby enemies. |

Soul Eater Resonance: S-Tier Weapon Scythe

The Scythe has a variety of combat styles, with reliable options to engage enemies or poke them from a distance.
When partnered with a Meister here are the abilities you will be able to utilize.
| Buttons | Name | Ability |
|---|---|---|
| E | Deathseeker | Slashes the air multiple times, creating traveling projectiles. |
| R | Witch Hunter | The user slashes upwards, creating spikes in front of them. |
| F | Air Slash | User slashes upwards, creating spikes in front of them. |
| V | Genie Hunter | Spins up and slashes forward. |
| T | Kishin Hunter | Spins around, creating a large AOE attack. |
Soul Eater Resonance: S-Tier Weapon Halberd
The Halberd might surprise you in S-tier, but the reasoning is hard to argue with. The developer themselves once pointed to it as the best weapon in the game, and there is a reason why: it is the only weapon in the game with a dedicated buff ability.
Sentinel’s Guard provides a 40% damage reduction for 10 seconds, and nothing else in the game comes close to that kind of survivability.
While the Excalibur wins on raw damage and the Death Sniper wins on range, the Halberd wins the war of attrition.
In longer fights or situations where opponents are trying to burst you down fast, that 40% reduction changes the math completely. You can survive situations that would end any other weapon’s run.
Its Rare rarity also makes it far more accessible than the Fabled Excalibur, which means new players who spin it early have a strong weapon to build around without needing to immediately chase another spin.
Final Thoughts
The game tries to create an environment that feels like the anime it took inspiration from, and to some extent, it has succeeded marvelously.
The Weapon and Meister system makes players feel like a part of the world, and the Weapon progression system, as well as the Meister leveling one, helps players to feel engaged.
