Can You Remove Bodies in Shadows of Doubt?
Unfortunately, there is no way to remove bodies in Shadows of Doubt. As of now, there’s no way to kill NPCs in the game, so there are no bodies to get rid of.
The reason is that killing NPCs would go against the game’s plot and the player would stray off from the role of a detective.
This has been further explained by a developer in a recent Steam discussion where they said that using guns to kill NPCs wouldn’t fit with the goal of the game.
Instead, you can knock NPCs unconscious or handcuff them if you want to search their apartment, but there’s no way to kill them or move their bodies.
How to Handcuff NPCs in Shadow of Doubt
To handcuff NPCs in Shadows of Doubt, make sure you have handcuffs in your inventory. Open your inventory by pressing X, find and select the handcuffs, and close your inventory.
Then, with the handcuffs in your hand, aim at the NPC you want to handcuff and press Left Click.
This will place the cuffs on their wrists and force them to stand still while you search and loot their apartment.
