If you got stuck playing Rooms & Exits Level 12 Chapter 2 – Jewelry Shop, don’t worry – it happens! And today I am here to help you beat this level by sharing the complete text walkthrough below.

So if none of the in-game hints help anymore, use this text walkthrough without worries. I hope you appreciate text walkthroughs as much as I do – they don’t give you spoilers for the full game, just the part you’re stuck with!

1. Tap the pillow on the red armchair to remove it and get the Wallet. Dismantle it in your inventory to get Dollar Bill.

2. Tap the leftmost jewelry display (by the door and get another Dollar bill from the second display. Also, get the Blue Jewel from the top left bracelet.

3. Tap the book on the other display. Get the Piece of Paper.

4. Tap the light fixture on the wall to the left. Get the Blue Jewel hanging from the left fixture. Also, get the Dollar Bill next to the right one.

5. Open the door under the light fixtures and get the Camera. Zoom into the necklace displays on top and get the Red Jewel.

6. Tap the display to the right and zoom into the colored necklace. Tap on each piece so that the same color from each piece faces the same color on the other piece (imagine that you would put the pieces together to do it right!)

Start with the left one (light green) and work your way to the right from there. Get the Jewel.

7. Tap the necklace displays on the wall and arrange them based on the symbols seen on the plate under the crown:

  • Top: Red triangle, yellow circle, white rectangle
  • Middle: Yellow rectangle, red circle, yellow triangle
  • Bottom: White circle, Red rectangle, White triangle

Get the key from the box.

8. Use the key on the door to the right and enter the new room. Pick up the following items:

  • puzzle piece from the plant
  • puzzle piece from the trash can
  • magazine from the table under the clock
  • puzzle pieces (get two!) from the rightmost and leftmost drawer
  • ring from the clock above the desk
  • scissors from under the left side of the carpet, under the middle display
  • Wristwatch from the display to the right.
  • small gear from the cuckoo’s beak (on the pendulum). Also notice the time on the pendulum: 9:20.

9. Tap the watch display on the left and and the second watch from the left. Place the gear to its right and notice the time: 3:35.

10. Tap the door under the clock display and open the briefcase using the clock code: 12:55 (you add the two values we found before). Get the hammer and puzzle piece.

11. Zoom into the photo of the wristwatch on the wall and use the hammer to remove all nails – you will get a Magazine this way. Get the puzzle piece there, too.

12. Tap the clock display in the middle and arrange the colors based on the ones you can see on the same display: red, dark blue, yellow, red, light blue, dark blue, yellow. Get the cross.

13. Go to the other room and get the remote and key from the middle drawer on the desk (near the red chair).

14. Let’s organize the inventory a bit! Dismantle the camera to get batteries and combine them with the remote control to get turned on remote. Combine the scissors and the magazine to get the puzzle part.

15. Use the remote on the AC unit and get the red ribbon. Use it on the red drapes to reveal the code: 137.

16. Use the code to gain access to the crown in the middle. Place the jewels from your inventory on the crown, then add the cross on top. Get the Jewel.

17. Tap the counter on the desk and add these items into the bag: Jewel, Ring, and Wristwatch. Get the key.

18. Tap the table between the red chairs and add the puzzle pieces from your inventory. Solve the puzzle:

  • piece with a large 1 – bottom right
  • piece with a small 5 – bottom left
  • piece with a 6 – top right

You will hear a sound when the puzzle is done correctly (and you won’t be able to move pieces anymore). When that happens, place the piece of paper on the puzzle and notice the code: 8691.

19. Use the code on the door, then the key to unlock the grates and exit!
