If you are stuck playing Level 8 Chapter 2 in Rooms & Exits – Pet Shop, worry no more! I am here to share the full text walkthrough for this level and help you beat it if the in-game hints can’t help you anymore.

Text walkthroughs like this one are great if you don’t want spoilers and only care about the part you’re stuck with, and I am sure that today’s Rooms & Exits Pet Shop walkthrough will come in handy. So without further ado, let’s jump in and see how to finish this level!

1. Tap the blue trash bucket and pick up the paper. In your inventory, dismantle it and look at the directions the dogs are facing (left/right).

2. Tap the shelf area above the dog food and zoom into the top drawer. Open it using the code from the paper: left, left, right, right, left, right. Get the pet food and water dispenser.

3. Tap the toy shelf and look at the clock on the left – remember the position of each colored arrow.

4. Tap the cages to the left of the room and use the pet food in your inventory on each hamster wheel to make the colored line match the ones from the clock. (feed 5 times the top one, two times the middle one and two times the bottom one). Get the Scissors from the tube to the left.

5. Use the scissors to cut the rope on the revolving doors and move to the other room.

6. Count the dog food bags based on their color. Then, tap the boxes on the right until you remove one and zoom into the empty spot to see a screen. Tap each colored button as many times as there are food boxes of that color (4-8-6-9-6). Get the Valve.

7. Tap the sink on the left wall and use the Valve from your inventory to turn the water on, then fill the water dispenser from your inventory and pick it up again.

8. Go back and tap the green towel covering the bird cage to reveal the bird. Place the water dispenser and it will start to sing – you must remember the notes it sings.

9. Go back to the other room and tap the toy display. Each of the toy produces a different note, and you have to tap the correct ones to replicate the bird’s song. Here’s what to press:

  • brown hippo
  • gray elephant (on the middle row)
  • monkey (next to the elephant)
  • pink donkey
  • crow

A door opens next to the toys – get the Knife, then dismantle it in your inventory.

10. Go to the other room and tap the fallen box. Use the knife on the box and get the Key and the piece of paper from inside.

11. Go back and tap the cage, then open it with the key. Get the Water Heater.

12. Tap the large hexagonal aquarium on the bottom right side of the screen, then place the heater on the aquarium. Now, examine the piece of paper – we must set the correct water temperature for each fish.

13. Here are the correct water temperatures, in the correct order. After setting the temperature, also click the red triangle button

  • 53.6
  • 84.2
  • 69.8
  • 39.2

Note: if your fish are in a different order than that above, simply check the chart and set the temperature in Fahrenheit according to the info on the piece of paper and based on the top fish in the aquarium.

Once all the fish move away, get the treasure chest from the aquarium.

14. In your inventory, dismantle the chest to get the key and use it to exit through the room on the left.
