If you are stuck playing Level 4 Chapter 2 in Rooms & Exits – Optical Store, worry no more! I am here to share the full text walkthrough for this level and help you beat it if none of the hints can.

Text walkthroughs like this one are great if you don’t want spoilers and only care about the part you’re stuck with, and I am sure that today’s Rooms & Exits Optical Store walkthrough will come in handy. So without further ado, let’s jump in and see how to finish this level!

1. Tap the display to the right side of the mirror and get the red refractor lens from a pair of glasses, and also the key to the right.

2. Tap the magazine on the main desk and tap the right page to turn the pages. Keep the order of the glasses in mind.

3. Tap the left door of the stand to the left and get the glasses. Open the top right shelf and get the green Refractor lens.

4. Tap the doors above and use the key to open them. Place the glasses you just picked into the bottom spot.

5. Tap the middle row of glasses again and arrange them as seen on the last page of the Optical Magazine:

  • full black rims and temples on top
  • small grey rims and glasses next
  • black, triangular-bottom rims and grey temples
  • the other pair with black rims and grey temples
  • grey lenses
  • round glasses

A niche opens and gives you a code: 68459.

6. Tap the display with shelves and use the code above to open it. Get the orange refractor lens.

7. Enter the next room and open the top drawer of the desk. Get the blue refractor lens.

8. Tap the folder to the right and get the piece of paper. Examine it in your inventory to see the required lenses: 0.5 on the left side and -1.75 to the right (Important: also look at the eyes on the paper! Their places are switched!)

9. Tap the lenses on the left side of the desk and use them to get the required numbers (keeping in mind that the paper shows them in the opposite order):

  • for the left eye, use the blue and red lenses
  • for the right eye, use the orange and green

You will now see three letters: TOD.

10. Tap the framed photo on the wall, then tap it again to reveal a safe. Open it by rotating the dial to match the letters above. Get the key.

11. Use the key on the door in the room to the right and exit.
