One of the many options to use in the Roblox Arcane Odyssey game is the Magic system. It is a complex system, with many combinations and synergies.
In this tier list, I will go over all the magic options in the game, from easiest to hardest to use while playing. Newer players can use this tier list as a reference point, while veteran players can use the information to maybe find out something new.
Here is a quick overview of the tier list for those of you who don’t want to go into details, and just want to see what to expect, and what to use.
Though I do have to point out, that tier lists are made to help out, and the information laid out is not set in stone. If you enjoy using magic that is ranked lower, that doesn’t mean the magic is bad or useless.

Best Magic in Roblox Arcane Odyssey
S-tier: Light Magic
General Information
- Status Effect: Blind
- Blinding Status Effect Details: Blinds the target for a few seconds
- Synergy: Crystal Magic
Clashing Power
- Light magic has a 1.2x clash advantage against Wind Magic.
- Neutral against Acid Magic, Water Magic, Fire Magic, Shadow Magic, and Glass Magic.
- Light magic has a 0.9x clash disadvantage against Ice Magic.
- Light magic has a 0.8x clash disadvantage against Explosion Magic, Lightning Magic, Wood Magic, Metal Magic, Poison Magic, Crystal Magic, and Plasma Magic.
- Light magic has a 0.7x clash disadvantage against Ash Magic, Earth Magic, Magma Magic, Snow Magic, and Sand Magic.
Though its damage output may be low, the utility it offers more than makes up for it.
It comes off quickly and can do AOE Blind status to your opponents.

- Lightning magic has a 0.9x Clash disadvantage against Acid Magic
- Lightning magic has a 0.7x Clash disadvantage against Wind, Water, and Metal Magic
Lightning is one of the most powerful Magic options for players. You will be able to defeat enemies pretty quickly with unbelievable strength.
This is by far the best magic in Roblox Arcane Odyssey.

- Scorched Status Effect Details: When the Charred status effect is applied to a target, it results in a dark overlay appearing on their screen, impairing their vision.
- Notable Reactions: The Charred status effect triggers an explosion upon clashing with Poison magic. Additionally, Explosion spells will vaporize upon coming into contact with any natural water source.

- Synergy (Good): Acid, Magma, Wind, and Plasma Magic
