Parkitect’s New DLC Lets You Mix Dinosaurs With Gladiators (And It’s Out Right Now)

Texel Raptor has surprise-launched a brand-new DLC for Parkitect, a few years after the last DLC release. But I won’t complain – this one is big!

Called Dinos & Dynasties, the expansion packs in two fresh themes and three new rides, giving players more tools to design parks that feel straight out of Jurassic Park (or ancient Rome) because why not mix these, right?

The DLC is available on PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam, and it comes alongside a free update for everyone who owns the game on the platform. And if you don’t have the game yet, it also runs a 60% discount to celebrate the launch of the new DLC.

What’s new in Dinos & Dynasties?

The DLC brings two big visual themes and some flashy rides to the table:

  • Jurassic Theme – Dino-inspired props, foliage, and scenery to make your park feel prehistoric.
  • Classical Theme – Roman and Greek architecture, statues, and plants for a godlike aesthetic.
  • New Rides – Plane Coaster, Pulsar, and a Swinging Mine Train Coaster.

On top of that, Texel Raptor slipped in a free sandbox update, which adds a cheat window with tools like building out of bounds, toggling track supports, infinite cash, and more – basically the kind of chaos players remember from RollerCoaster Tycoon cheat codes back in the day.

Parkitect Keeps the Tycoon Dream Alive

Since launch, Parkitect has sold more than 500,000 copies and has over 30,000 mods made by players. It’s cemented itself as the modern heir to RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, especially for fans who never quite vibed with Planet Coaster’s more simulation-heavy approach.

Texel Raptor hasn’t released DLC in a while, but co-founders Garret Randell and Sebastian Mayer say they wanted to answer long-standing community requests for fresh content. I’m sure that fans of the game are happy they did.

Bottom line: if you’ve been waiting to fill your park with dinosaurs, gladiator arenas, or just some new coasters, Dinos & Dynasties is live – and ready to eat your weekend.
