  • +1 Ranged damage per level.

As you can see, the Apprentice is a scaling class that can deal significant damage during the later stages of a run.

To unlock the Apprentice in Brotato, players will need to reach level 20.

The Cryptid

The Cryptid starts with the following stats:

  • +6 Trees spawn at the start of the game.
  • +10 Harvesting for every living tree at the end of a wave.
  • +3 HP regen of every living tree.
  • Dodge capped at 80%.
  • +5% Attack Speed until the end of the wave whenever you dodge an attack.
  • -100% Life Steal.
  • -100 Range.
  • -50% materials dropped.

Based on that, the Cryptid focuses on utilizing trees and keeping them alive.

To unlock the Cryptid, players will need to finish a wave with 10 or more living trees.

The Fisherman

The Fisherman starts with the following stats:

  • +20 Harvesting.
  • Can always find Bait in the Shop.
  • -95% Bait price.
  • +2 Harvesting for every Bait owned.
  • Baits cause special enemies to spawn.

As a Fisherman, players should focus on buying Baits from the shop and maxing their Harvesting stat.

To unlock the Fisherman in Brotato, earn two Baits in a single run.

The Golem

The Golem starts with the following stats:

  • +20 HP.
  • +33% Max HP modifications.
  • +33% Armor modification.
  • +40% Attack Speed when below 50% HP.
  • +20% when below 50% HP.
  • Can’t heal.

The Golem is a tricky character as it can truly shine when below 50% HP but is unable to heal. Focus on increasing your armor and keep your HP at just below 50%.

To unlock the Golem, you will need to finish one wave with 1 HP remaining.

The King

The King starts with the following stats:

  • +25% Damage for each Tier IV weapon owned.
  • +25% Attack Speed for each Tier IV weapon owned.
  • +5 HP for each Tier IV item owned.
  • -15% Damage for every Tier I weapon owned.
  • -15% Attack Speed for every Tier I weapon owned.
  • -2% HP for every Tier I item owned.

As the King, you want to avoid having any Tier I items and weapons and focus on upgrading to Tier IV as soon as you can.

To unlock the King in Brotato, players will need to get three Tier IV weapons at the same time.

The Renegade

  • +2 Projectiles.
  • +1 target pierced per projectile.

The Renegade is a weird character that focuses on stacking Tier I items and only utilizing a ranged playstyle.

To unlock the Renegade, players must collect 10 different Tier I items during a single run.
