Difficult bosses are obstacles players will have to overcome. In this guide, I will go over the best build and the weakness of Smart Cleaner in Armored Core 6.

EC-0804 SMART CLEANER is a Boss encountered in the mission Infiltrate Grid 086 and the mission Destroy the Drive Block.

During the mission Infiltrate 096, you need to reach the center of Grid 086’s lower level and upon reaching the area, you need to eliminate the autonomous heavy SMART CLEANER.

It is not an optional boss, mainly relying on close-range attacks, but it also has ranged attacks.

Before going in, and challenging the boss, you will want to be equipped as best as possible to take on this mission.

  • L-Back Unit: SONGBIRDS
  • Head: KASUAR 44Z
  • Core: DF-BD-08 TIAN-QIANG
  • Arms: NACHTREIHER 46E
  • Legs: VP-424
  • Booster: BST-G1/P10
  • FCS: FC-006 ABBOT
  • Generator: VP-20D
  • Expansion: TERMINAL ARMOR

The Plasma Rifles (VVC-760PR) are equipped in both hands due to their high damage-dealing capabilities.

The double SONGBIRDS will allow you to infinitely stunlock the boss, causing massive stagger damage.

The KASUAR 44Z head, and the DF-BD-08 TIAN-QIANG body because they offer high stagger resistance.

The NACHTREIHER 46E arms offer their max firearm specialization stat which improves target tracking.

The default booster though unassuming has low energy on quick boost allowing players to boost in the air without losing too much energy.

The FC-006 ABBOT is used for its incredible close-range assist.

Lastly, the VP-20D generator offers amazing energy, energy firearm specialization, and energy output.

Let’s go over what its weaknesses are, and how to use them to your advantage.

The SMART CLEANER has two weaknesses. One on its front, and the other on top of it.

Going first after the weakness in front of it can be hard because of its massive arms swinging at you.

The key to this fight is to fly above it and attack its top weakness. It can be tricky at first to land your shots, but once you do it will take massive damage.

The VP-424 tetrapod legs will allow you to hover right above it, and fire into his weakness repeatedly.

If you practice this way of fighting you will not have to counter ts massive swinging arms, and you will have beaten him easily on your first playthrough of the game.

There is no single right way to deal with any given boss. I have laid out a way for most players to be able to defeat the Smart Cleaner in Armored Core 6, which will make the boss feel less challenging for all skill levels.
