This list will go through all the legendary jokers in Balatro, showcase their effects, and explain how to unlock them.
In short, there are five legendary jocker cards, and all of them can be unlocked randomly through the Soul spectral card. The odds are fairly low, so this will require a lot of grind unless you’re really lucky.
Let’s go through everything you need to know about legendary jocker cards.
How to Unlock Legendary Jokers

To unlock legendary Jokers in Balatro, you must get a Soul card from Spectral/Arcana Packs and hope to get lucky.
Keep in mind that getting a Soul card is also extremely rare, and you’ll need to farm a lot of Tarrot and Spectral Cards.
All Legendary Jockers & Effects
In total, there are five legendary jocker cards, and you can get them all through the same method. Unfortunately, there’s no way to get a specific one other than hoping to get lucky.
Spam Spectral and Arcana Packs, get a Soul card, and pray to get the Joker card you want. Let’s go through all of them.

Canio
Canio allows you to get 1x Mult (multiplier) whenever a face card is destroyed. It starts with 1x Mult by default, so once you destroy a face card, you’ll get a solid multiplier bonus, which can stack as the round progresses.
Triboulet
Triboulet causes all Kings and Queens that are played to grant a 2x Multiplier when scored. With a good hand, this card can help you win rounds easily.
Yorick
Yorick grants 5x Multiplier once you discard 23 cards. This is a fairly tricky effect to use but can shine with certain playstyles and joker combinations.
Chicot
Chicot is a slightly unusual card as it disables the effect of every Boss Blind. If used at the right time, it can be a great asset.
Perkeo
Last but not least, Perkeo creates a negative copy of a random consumable card in your collection at the end of the shop.
Wrapping up
In conclusion, there are five legendary jocker cards in Balatro, and all of them have a small chance of being unlocked when using the Soul spectral card.
Overall, these five cards have some of the best and most game-changing effects available. If you get them, they’ll be an amazing asset to your collection.
