This New World 2023 event guide will go through everything you need to know about the Winter Convergence Festival and its rewards.
The new Convergence Festival allows you to collect presets from Winter Villages around the map and exchange event tokens for various new items. Additionally, many new and returning items are added to the shop.
Let’s go through every new addition in turn.
New World Winter Convergence Festival Activities
The event festival comes with two unique activities which have been reworked from last year’s event. Now, they are more rewarding and easier to complete!
Gift Piles
Similar to previous events, you can visit Winter Villages around the map to earn gifts. However, now, you can get four presents per village, and you can only visit three villages.
As for Gift Sakcs, you can only interact with one Gift Sack per day, and it will grant three presents and one random holiday food.
This resets daily at 5 AM local time.
Winter Warrior
Winter Warrior is an open-world boss that requires 20 or more players to defeat it. It can be found around Great Cleave, Brightwood, Edengrove, Ebonscale Reach, and Brimstone Sands.
You can defeat this boss three times per day and will earn 15 Dark Matter each time.
Gleamite Showers
Additionally, random meteor showers occur around the map. You can collect Gleamite Sharrds from the debris, which can then be exchanged for Winter Tokens at the Holiday Hut.
Winter Convergence Rewards
As for rewards, visit Holiday Huts in any Winter Village, and you’ll be able to exchange event items for Winter Tokens. These tokens can be used to buy a wide variety of items from the event shop.
Additionally, many new items have been introduced to the shop, including house decorations, outfits, and emotes. To make things better, all items from last year’s event are now also available in the shop.
Winter Convergence End Date
Keep in mind that the New World Winter Convergence event will end on January 9, 2024. Make sure to claim any rewards you want until then!
