While only an optional objective, getting an A+ grade is a great way to know you’ve mastered the level and get some extra coins as a reward in The Outlast Trials.
To get an A+ in the game, players will need to consistently avoid talking damage or triggering traps, use items they find, and complete all main and side objectives.
In this guide, I will explain everything you need to know to get an A+ Grade in The Outlast Trials.

How to Get A+ Grade in The Outlast Trials
A+ is the highest Grade in The Outlast Trials and thus it’s not easy to get. Players will need to be careful of everything, and plan their movement with precision, while also moving fast to avoid running out of resources.
To get an A+ grade, you will need to do the following:
- Avoid dying at all costs – If you die, regardless if you get revived later, you won’t get an A+.
- Avoid getting hit/taking damage/getting Psychosis – Taking any damage slightly reduces your rank. You can get A+ if you get hit only 2-3 times, but any more than that will make it significantly harder to get a good rank.
- Avoid triggering sound traps – This involves stepping on glasses on the floor while running. You can trigger a few traps and get an A+, but step on too many glasses, and your chances of getting a good rank are gone.
- Find all Propaganda Posters – Each map requires you to find 3 or 5 Propaganda Posters. Make sure to find them all. If you’re not sure how they work, check out our guide on what are Propaganda Posters in The Outlast Trials.
- Use many consumable items – Try and use any items you find, including bricks, batteries, and lockpicks.
These tips work on all four Programs in the game. However, on some Programs, it will be easier to get an A+, while others will be significantly more challenging.
The most important tip here is to always check your performance evaluation after every run. Anything marked in red is things you should avoid.
For more levels, getting an A+ will require replaying it multiple times and closely coordinating with your teammates to complete every objective without taking any damage or failing anything.
Keep in mind that getting an A+ rank is significantly harder in solo compared to co-op. For more details, make sure to check out our guide on how to play The Outlast Trials with friends.
Wrapping up
In conclusion, getting an A+ Rank requires being careful while also moving fast. Complete all main and side objectives without taking damage or triggering any traps.
Of course, this will be harder in higher difficulties but with enough patience and perseverance, you will be able to get that sweet A+ on every trial.
