Tears of the Kingdom: How to See Enemy Health

When aiming at an enemy in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can see their health bar.

However, they can’t see the exact health points of an enemy and thus they can’t calculate the damage needed to defeat them.

In Breath of the Wild, players were able to see the hp of every enemy after equipping the signature Champion’s Tunic. Unfortunately, that is not the case in TotK, as there is no way to see an enemy’s exact HP.

This guide will explain everything you need to know on how to see an enemy’s health in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Can You See Enemy Health In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

There is no way to see an enemy's exact health and hit points in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
Unfortunately, you can’t see the enemy’s exact health in Tears of the Kingdom.

You can see an enemy’s health bar above their heads when aiming at them. However, there is no way to see the exact hit points in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, and thus you can’t calculate how many hits you’ll need to take down an enemy before engaging in combat.

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, players were able to see an enemy’s exact HP after equipping Link’s Champion’s Tunic. Unfortunately, getting the Champion’s Leather (Champion’s Tunic) in Tears of the Kingdom and upgrading it does not offer the same effect.

Seeing an enemy’s exact hit points would make weapon testing and experimentation significantly easier since players would know exactly how many hits it will take per weapon upgrade to take down an enemy.

Based on that, we could calculate which weapon upgrades and fusions are more worth it overall.

For now, we can only hope that the developers will add this feature in a future update.

Wrapping up

To sum up, there is no way to see the exact enemy hitpoints in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. The only thing you can see is the HP bar when aiming at enemies.

Even if you upgrade the Champion’s Leather, Link won’t be able to see the exact health of enemies.

Do you think seeing the exact HP is an essential feature in Zelda? Hopefully, it will be added in a future update. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
