How to Get the Flamebreaker Armor Set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can get the Flamebreaker armor set by visiting Goron City, which is on the Northeast side of Hyrule.
After reaching Goron City, you’ll need to visit the armor shop there, which sells the Flamebreaker armor set directly.
Specifically, here are all the Flamebreaker armor set pieces and their cost:
- Flamebreaker Helm – 1,400 Rupees.
- Flamebreaker Armor – 700 Rupees.
- Flamebreaker Boots – 1,200 Rupees.
While the entire set can seem expensive, you only need one piece to access the hotter areas. Let’s examine the set’s bonuses in detail.
Flamebreaker Armor Set Bonuses Explained
After equipping any of the three pieces, players will receive the Flame Guard ability.
Flame Guard protects Link from all areas with high temperatures and extreme heat, allowing him to explore even more locations on the map including the Fire Temple.
Since this can be gained only with one piece, I recommend purchasing the Flamebreaker Armor, which is the cheapest piece.
If players choose to equip all three pieces, they will gain the Fireproof set bonus.
Fireproof makes Link immune to most fire sources, which is an amazing buff to have. Keep in mind that Fireproof does not protect Link from lava damage or from fire-infused enemy attacks.
Wrapping up
In conclusion, players can get the Flamebreaker armor set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom by visiting the armor shop at Goron City and buying it for 3,300 Rupees.
With one piece equipped, they’ll be able to survive any temperature, while the set bonus gives the Fireproof effect, which makes Link immune to fire.
