In this guide, I will explain how to beat the Wyvern Titan boss fight in Sonic Frontiers and provide some useful tips to make it even easier.
Transform into Super Sonic
When the fight begins, Sonic will be in his normal form and thus unable to fight the boss head-on.
To become Super Sonic, players will have to climb the tall tower in the middle of the arena. When they reach high enough, it’s time to jump toward the Wyvern.
A red path will form, moving parallel to the Wyvern. Players should follow that path and keep collecting coins to charge up their Super Sonic meter. The best tip here is to collect as many coins as possible before moving on to the next part.
After collecting enough coins, jump on top of the Wyvern and interact with the Chaos Emerald on its head to transform into Super Sonic.
How to Beat the Wyvern
With Sonic now transformed into Super Sonic, the real fight can begin. Here, parrying is going to be your best friend. All you need to do to beat the Wyvern is parry its missile attack. This will send the missile back to the boss.
After being hit by a missile, the Wyvern will perform a spin attack. If you parry that attack, the boss will be stunned for a long time, leaving it vulnerable to your attacks.
While it’s stunned, follow up with Sonic’s combos to deal solid damage.
This happens during the entire fight. The only variation is that while Wyvern is below 50% HP, players will need to parry the spin attack twice before the boss gets stunned.
Lastly, when the boss reaches 5-10% HP, a series of quick-time events (QTE) will occur, where players will need to hit specific buttons at the right time.
Completing these will defeat the Wyvern and complete this boss fight.
