Aloe Vera is a plant that can be found in Sons of the Forest and it’s an ideal way for dealing with food poisoning and certain infections.
Aloe Vera can be found on the western side of the map, just near the main spawn points.

How to Get Aloe Vera in Sons of the Forest
Players can get Aloe Vera on the west side of the map in Sons of the Forest. It is fairly common there, as long as you’re paying close attention.
The only issue is that Aloe Vera is a small plant and it’s very similar to a normal bush. This means you’ll need to always be checking down for it until you get the option to collect it.
Where to Use Aloe Vera in Sons of the Forest
Players have two options in terms of where to use Aloe Vera. First, it can be eaten raw to restore a small amount of HP. While it is safe to eat, its benefits are almost non-existent.
The second option is to use it to craft the Health Mix and Health Mix+ via your inventory. Let’s see the recipes below.
- Health Mix – 1x Yarrow + 1x Aloe Vera
- Health Mix+ – 1x Horsetail + 1x Fireweed + 1x Aloe Vera
These are extremely useful healing items if you don’t want to rely solely on Meds. Also, Health Mixes can be crafted easily, especially if you’ve planted seeds for the necessary plants.
How to Get Aloe Vera Seeds and Plant Them
Similar to other plants, players can plant Aloe Vera in their planters. To get Aloe Vera Seeds, the only option is to keep collecting Aloe Vera from the previously-mentioned locations until you get seeds.
Since the system is based entirely on RNG, there’s no guaranteed way to get seeds other than collecting Aloe Vera and hoping for the best.
Then, place the seeds in a planter and wait until your Aloe Vera is ready to harvest.
