How to Build Houses
To build new houses in your village in Sengoku Dynasty, navigate to the housing section under the Building Menu and equip your hammer.
As long as you’ve got enough Planks, Sticks, and Logs, you’ll be able to start constructing houses that will work as shelters for your new villagers.
Thankfully, all the materials are easy to get; chop down trees, gather sticks from bushes, and process logs into planks.
Also, don’t forget to add essential furniture in the shelters such as beds.
How to Recruit Villagers
Now that the houses are ready, you can start recruiting new people. To recruit villagers in Sengoku Dynasty, access the Population tab in the Dynasty menu and check the list of available villagers.
From there, you’ll able to recruit new villagers to join your community. However, you will also need to have enough housing slots and beds available.
To get more villagers in Sengoku Dynasty, players will need to complete the “Asking for Settlement” quest and reach Dynasty Level 7. Then, they’ll need to wait for the season to change and recruitable villagers will start to show up.
How to Assign Houses in Sengoku Dynasty
If you have enough houses and want to recruit new villagers, you’ll need to assign them to a house and a bed first.
To assign houses in Sengoku Dynasty, go to the villager recruitment tab in the Population option within the Dynasty menu. After selecting the villager of your choice, you’ll be asked to assign a house and a bed to that villager.
As long as you have an available house and bed, you’ll be able to assign it and that’s all you need to do.
Just keep in mind that each house has a limited capacity and can’t fit an infinite number of villagers.
A villager with a house and bed will be happy, more productive, and will form stronger bonds with other villagers. To make sure all villagers have a house, check the Population tab often. To increase your village’s overall productivity, every villager must have a house.

Hi, I’m having a problem with housing. I have build 7 houses but can only fit 5 villagers for some reason. It also says that I can fit 11 villagers but for some reason if I want to assign a house to the new villager I can only chose from 5 houses instead of 7. I’m currently lvl 10 do I need to be lvl 14 maybe to get more villagers?
Are you building small or medium houses? Try medium. Then, aim to reach level 14 to get more villagers.
