Best Sniper Stats to Focus on for this Build

Best Sniper Build for Max CRI in Ragnarok Origin.

While leveling up in Ragnarok Origin, players will be called to allocate their stats in any of the six following attributes:

  • STR – Increases Melee damage by 1, Ranged damage by 0.2, and Melee weapon attack by 0.5%. Also, it increases the Load Limit by 30.
  • AGI – Increases Flee by 1, Defense by 0.2, and Attack Speed slightly.
  • VIT – Increases max HP by 1%, Defense by 0.5, MDefense by 0.2, and HP Regen by 0.2.
  • INT – Increases MAttack by 1.5, Max SP by 1%, MDefense by 1, and SP Recovery and Casting time slightly.
  • DEX – Increases Ranged damage by 1, Melee damage by 0.2, Ranged weapon attack by 0.5%, MDefense by 0.2, while slightly increasing Attack Speed and reducing Casting Time.
  • LUK – Increases Critical Hit Chance and Damage by 0.3, Crit Resistance by 0.2, Attack by 0.2, and MAttack by 0.3.

Overall, the best stats for the sniper in Ragnarok Origin are LUK and AGI. With high LUK, you will be able to reach max CRI and constantly get critical hits on your enemies.

Then, a high AGI stat will ensure you’re attacking as fast as possible to take advantage of your high-damage attacks.

While some players recommend leveling up DEX too, the extra Attack it gives is completely negligible and thus not worth it, based on my play tests.

In terms of skills, before moving on to the Sniper Job, you will need to progress the Archer and Hunter skill trees. Let’s examine each in turn.

  • Double Strafe – Shoot two arrows at an enemy and their speed scales based on your Attack Speed.
  • Vulture’s Eye – Increase Range permanently.
  • Attention Concentrate – Increase AGI and DEX temporarily.

  • Falconry Mastery – Summon a Falcon to fight by your side.
  • Steel Crow – Upgrade the Falcon by increasing its overall damage.
