Time travel is a big part of Last Epoch’s lore and gameplay. A large part of this mechanic is related to the Monolith of Fate, which is one of the Last Epoch’s major End-Game features.
In this guide, I will go over how to defeat the Monolith Lagon in Last Epoch. Go over the general information, blessings players should consider, and notable loot.
The Lagon fight is one of the more annoying for players. It is a three-phase fight where the first phase is slow, and you can read the upcoming moves easily.
A second phase that throws everything toward you, and to cap everything off a third phase that resembles the first.

Last Epoch Monolith Lagon General Info
This Timeline takes place in the Divine Era. The Osprix forces have managed to thrust deep into the western regions, devastating Deep Harbor, and Etendell. To push them back, Lagon unleashes a storm that will wash away everything and everyone on its path.
There are two difficulties that players can take on. The level 75 difficulty and the level 100 difficulty. Both of them have different unlockable requirements as well as different maximal stability, and both minimal and maximal corruption.
Here is an overview of both difficulty levels and what is expected of players.
Level 75 Difficulty
- How to Unlock: Complete The Black Sun and Blood, Frost, and Death
- Maximal Stability: 750
- Minimal Corruption: 0
- Maximal Corruption: 50

Last Epoch Monolith Lagon Blessings
Blessings are permanent increases to your character’s stats, or they can increase the chances to find particular types of items. Blessings apply throughout the entire game, not just in the Monolith of Fate.
When you conquer a Timeline you will be presented with 3 Blessings to choose from. If you conquer the same timeline again, you can choose to either keep your current Blessing or replace it with a new one.
Knowing which Blessing can help out against any boss can be detrimental to how the fight develops.
When it comes to Lagon these are Blessings players should consider having before attempting this fight.
- Bastion/Grand Bastion of Divinity – Increases Lightning Resistance.
- Chaos/Grand Chaos of Lagon – Increases Lightning Damage.
- Might/Grand Might of the Sea Titan – Increases Cold Damage.
- Cruelty/Grand Cruelty of Meruna – Chance to Shock on Hit.
- Mysteries/Grand Mysteries of the Deep – Chance to Shred Lightning Res on Hit.
- Resonance/Grand Resonance of the Sea – Ward per Second.
Last Epoch Monolith Lagon Noateable Loot
Once you manage to defeat Lagos, from everything it can drop, there are some items that players will need to take note of.
Lagos has four boss-specific drops.
- Alluvion (Requires Level: 72)
- Coral Aegis (Requires Level: 70)
- Eye of Storms (Requires Level: 85)
- Stormcarved Testament (Requires Level: 78)
Out of all these boss-specific drops here are the two that players should go after.
The Stormcarved Testament looks to be a very specialized relic but it’s actually quite universal, because of how it works. It increases Lightning Damage, Lightning Penetration, and Shock Chance for you and your totems, and it may summon you a Storm Totem.
Thanks to this, its bonuses are self-contained and fit any build that deals Lightning Damage.
The Eye of Storms is a powerful amulet that is a staple of Maelstrom builds.
If you stack multiple Maelstroms while you have it equipped, your Lightning Damage will skyrocket (it gives up to +8% Lightning Damage per active Maelstrom, and has a chance to cast Maelstrom every 5 seconds).
Conclusion
This was all the information to prepare players on how to defeat Monolith Lagon, in Last Epoch.
Despite the fact that there aren’t precise steps players can follow, preparation before a difficult fight can be more than enough to allow players to overcome any challenge.
