Tish is a romanceable Majiri resident of Kilima village. An artist in her own right, Tish is a master at furniture crafting. She sells the furniture she makes, as well as leads the Furniture Crafting Guild. She’s always a bright face to speak with if you’re ever in need of help.
Tish is an artsy bundle of joy. She grew up sick and it was uncertain if she would make it to adulthood. She moved with Reth to Kilima Village to have access to clean air, which has made her condition better.

Unlocking Romance with Tish in Palia
As stated by the developers “We want players to be able to engage in the romance feature for intrinsic reasons, like genuine interest in getting to know the characters. The romances are not meant for extrinsic rewards. Romance storylines unfold alongside the main story, and serve to add more options for your adventures in Palia. But you will not miss out on progress, rewards, or gameplay if you do not romance an NPC.”
Building on what the developers said, Romance is built upon having a relationship with any given character. In the gameplay that will translate into the need to raise the character’s friendship to Level 3 before attempting to romance them.
To open the Romance route for Tish after you raise her Friendship Level to 3 you will need to give her a Box of Chocolates.
A Box of Chocolates can be bought for 200 Gold from Zeki’s General Store. This will begin her romance route, which starts from level one.

Interactions With Tish That Earn Romance Points
With each level of Romance, the required points drastically increase, and in order to reach Level 4 Romance which is the max you will need 660 points.
There are four different ways to get these points while playing the game and interacting with Tish.
- Chatting with Tish
Every hour that passes while you play, you will be able to gain points. At first, those points will go to increase your friendship, but once you reach Friendship level 3, and unlock the Romance route, they will be converted to Romance points.
Keep in mind, that the one hour mentioned refers to actual time, and not in-game time.
If you interact with Tish within the same one-hour period, you won’t be able to gain more points.
- Flirting with Tish
Once you go down the Romance route with Tish, you will be given the option to flirt with her. Flirting gives more romantic vibes when talking with Tish, and will give you Romance points as well.
Unfortunately, flirting has the same restrictions that talking does. You will only get Romance points once per one-hour period.
However, since you are Romancing a character, and getting to know them more even if you don’t get Romance points, flirting more than once does not seem so bad.
- Giving Tish Gifts
Tish has a lot of different liked and loved gifts to receive from players. However, the game limits the ability to give characters gifts to once per real-time day.
A couple of like gifts are Blueberry, and Sernuk Antlers that you can give her, while she would love to receive a Green Pearl.
Aside from the list of liked, and loved gifts each character has four weekly wants. Each week they rotate to something different, and you can learn more about what they are from chatting with the characters.
- Completing Quests
Lastly, each time you complete a Character Quest, you will be rewarded with points. In the beginning, those points will be Friendship points, so make sure to finish any pending quests first before giving Tish any new gifts.
This way you will be able to get the Romance points, and maybe the level increase before giving her any gifts.

Every time you talk to Tish you end up loving her even more, and she really is a bundle of joy. Especially since you get to see her healthy, and happy.
