Best Characters in Honkai Star Rail
Let’s examine in further detail the four characters that manage to stand out in S-Tier.
4. Gepard (Preservation, Ice)
Gepard combines single-target damage with shield generation for your entire team. This makes him an ideal option for a supportive unit as his Ultimate provides a shield for your entire party for three turns.
Additionally, he can consistently freeze enemies, which blocks their actions and deals damage over time.
3. Bronya (Harmony, Wind)
Bronya is the best support unit in the game as she can buff allies’ damage and even allow them to act twice in one turn.
Her skill allows an ally to act right after her (even if they acted already in this turn) and increases their damage dealt.
Bronya’s ultimate increases the ATK and Crit DMG of your party, which allows you to set up amazing one-shot turns where you use all your DPS ultimate abilities right after Bronya’s ultimate.
2. Bailu (Abundance, Lightning)
Bailu is the best healer in Honkai: Star Rail since both her skill and ultimate can heal multiple allies.
Healing can be extremely helpful in this game and Bailu does it best, which means she should always have a spot in your team if you have unlocked her.
Additionally, her Talent allows her to automatically (without using an action) revive a fallen ally.
This can be used once per battle but is a huge game-changer since it’s the only way to revive fallen teammates.
1. Seele (The Hunt, Quantum)
Seele is the best DPS unit in Honkai: Star Rail and shines due to her exceptional single-target damage.
The best part of her kit is her talent: Resurgence. Whenever Seele kills an enemy with any move, she gains an ATK buff and can act again.
While this can’t be used more than once in a turn, it allows Seele to move two times in a single turn (or three if you count her ultimate).
Combine her with Bronya, and with enough Action Points Seele will be able to take down the entire enemy team.
Wrapping up
To sum up this Honkai: Star Rail tier list, these are the best characters in the game.
The only issue is that the best characters are all 5-stars, which means you’ll need to get lucky on the character banners.
