Both for a request, and to look stunning Formal Attire is a must, and in this guide, I will go over where to find it in Like a Dragon Gaiden.
Formal Attire is locked behind Chapter 4 when players visit the Ebisu Pawn Shop. It can be expensive, but you won’t have to worry about it. After the scene played out, halfway through the chapter you will be given the Formal Attire.
Let’s go over how to get Formal Attire, and where to use it in more detail.
The Outfit Of My Memories Request
The most prominent use of Formal Attire in the game will be during the “The Outfit from My Memories” request.
While doing jobs for the Akame Network you will meet a variety of different characters. One of those is a woman in the Castle.
She will have a request for you to dress up in a specific outfit to remind her of her deceased husband, which is kind of sad, and kind of endearing.
She will want you to wear Formal Attire, a Single Rose, and Leather Shoes.

Dressing up for the Request
Well, the request requires players to get three different items, from around the game.
What happens when you don’t know where to find them? Here are the locations for all items you will need in order to complete the request.
The Leather Shoes will be found in the castle, near the lady that makes the request. There is a clothing store around her and a small shopping trip after, you will be able to buy it.
The Single Rose is in the same place as the Leather Shoes. In the castle, near the lady that makes the request.
Lastly, we have the Formal Attire. No matter which point of the story you meet the woman, and unlock the request, you won’t actually be able to get the Formal Attire until you reach Chapter 4.
At the beginning of Chapter 4, you will go around spending quite a bit. You won’t have to worry about what to do, since the game will be guiding you through this sequence.
At some point, you will make a stop at the Ebisu Pawn Shop. Unfortunately, the Formal Attire is very expensive, but you won’t have to pay for it with what you have earned.
While going through the Chapter 4 story, you will be given the Formal Attire, and you will be able to change into it.
Once you change into the outfit the woman wants, you will clear the request, and make someone happy which is more important.
