The Hall of Fame in Escape From Tarkov is a hideout upgrade and a game-changer that can massively boost your in-raid performance and streamline your trophy collection.
I’ve spent many hours playing Tarkov, testing out every trick I could find and sharing guides to help you get the most out of the game, and today we’re going to talk about the Hall of Fame, learning everything about this hideout module.
In short, the Hall of Fame allows you to turn in high-level dogtags of the opposing faction to increase the XP earned in physical and combat skills every raid. Additionally, it grants you some extra storage space for trophy items.
We should go in-depth with this feature, or if you think that’s enough info, you can continue reading about Stash upgrades to increase storage in Escape from Tarkov.
Hall of Fame in Escape From Tarkov Explained in Depth
The Hall of Fame upgrade is designed to give your character extra benefits. In this area, you can store items that serve two main purposes:
First, you can boost the physical and combat XP you earn during raids by turning in high-level opposing dogtags. Second, you get extra storage space for trophy items that would otherwise clutter your stash.
In the Hall of Fame, you can place three types of items:
- Dogtags (any dogtag)
- Small Trophies (GP Coin, small Streamer items, Bitcoin, Roller, Gold Chain, and more)
- Large Trophies (Lion, Teapot, Clock, Horse, and more)
While you can place any dogtag in the Hall of Fame, only specific ones will grant bonuses.
Specifically, based on how many 24+ level dogtags of the opposing faction you place here, you’ll get extra physical and combat skill experience during raids. You can still place lower-level ones, but they won’t give you any benefits.
Since this only works for opposing faction dogtags, if you chose BEAR, you’re in luck. This is because most players are playing as USECs, so you get better chances.

As for which skills level up faster, here are all the physical and combat skills that gain an XP bonus from the Hall of Fame in Escape From Tarkov:
The XP bonus works on these physical and combat skills:
- Endurance
- Vitality
- Strength
- Health
- Stress Resistance
- Metabolism
- Immunity
- All Weapon Skills (covering pistols, SMGs, assault rifles, and more)
I’ve noticed that as you upgrade the Hall of Fame to levels two and three, the XP bonus increases further. This makes the investment in the hideout upgrade even more worthwhile if you’re serious about maximizing your combat efficiency.
As for the trophy storage, it doesn’t offer any skill XP bonuses. Instead, it only helps to save some space from your stash, similar to the weapon rack.
How to Fix the Can’t Put Items in Hall of Fame Bug
If you just built the Hall of Fame in Escape From Tarkov but can’t put things into it, don’t worry – it’s a known, yet unlikely bug.
A simple game restart should fix this issue. I’ve run into this myself a couple of times, and a quick reboot of the game has always solved the problem.
Although a simple restart of the game usually fixes the issue, I’ve seen reports from other players that clearing your game cache or waiting a short while after a patch update also resolves the problem (if the reboot doesn’t work).
Optimize Your Hideout Setup!
While the Hall of Fame itself is a solid feature on its own, giving great bonuses, you should always keep in mind other hideout upgrades and pair them all together to maximize your overall benefits.
For example, upgrades that improve your production or extraction speed can complement the XP boost from the Hall of Fame, creating a better hideout setup. Experiment with different combinations to see which configuration works best for your playstyle.
Wrapping up
To sum things up, the Hall of Fame is a must have, useful addition to your hideout in Escape From Tarkov. It’s a helpful addition that offers another use for dogtags instead of just selling them to the Therapist, while at the same time offering a method to boost your physical and combat skills, which is always helpful.
