If you want to arm yourself to the teeth with Legendary weapons, this guide will help you achieve that by sharing some easy methods to increase your legendary loot.
Unlike most open-world games, Enshourded as of early access has a “small” exploit that affects item spawns.
By going to a location that is known to have a golden chest with diamonds, you can infinitely get legendary-grade items by following the easy method below.
Once you open the chest in the game, go back to the main menu, and reload it. When you reload the game, this chest will be refilled, and you will be able to re-acquire the treasure. Use this over and over again with chests that can have legendary items.
Let’s dive a little more into what you can do.
Gold Chest #1 for Legendary Loot
For the first location, you will want to travel to the pillars of creation. Glide to the northeastern part of the map.
Once you reach the Umber Hollows at the Jasper Isles, you will be at the correct location. Place your flame altar here to be able to fast-travel back to it.
Once you deal with the shroud root, you will be able to freely explore this area. As you explore, and open all the chests, you will notice a red beam of steam going towards the sky.
To the left of that beam, you will find the chest you are looking for. Once you open it you will get a higher-grade weapon with high chances of legendary items.
The red beam can be seen from above, so as you glide down you are sure to notice it.

Gold Chest Exploit Location 2
This exploit was first found by various Reddit users, and they have been trying to find the best location to make this exploit work for you.
There is a post in the game’s subreddit showing off this location and additional comments.
While the first location works for players who have done a little more in the game, this location can be quite easier even for those who want to get a stacked inventory faster.
You will simply want to get to the sun temple on the far right of the map. The path is pretty straightforward to follow.
You will want to enter the temple, run to the right, follow the path, go down the stairs, through the door, bypass enemies, turn left, then open the door to your right.
Once you enter the new room, you will find the golden chest in question.
