Amaterasu is one of the strongest characters in Divine Knockout and one of the few that can add their ultimate ability at the end of a combo for maximum damage.
Similar to other fighting games, learning combos is important as it allows players to deal as much damage as possible with every chance they get.
Combos range from smaller ones with 15-20% damage to longer ones that can reach even 46% with the addition of the ultimate move at the end.

Amaterasu Playstyle in DKO

The majority of Amaterasu’s best combos in Divine Knockout start with Sunseeker Dash. It is important to know that Sunseeker Dash will only launch an opponent into the air if they are hit at the last second of the dash.
Therefore, Amaterasu’s playstyle focuses on gaining distance and then quickly dashing toward the enemy.
Amaterasu Best Combos in DKO
Based on Amaterasu’s playstyle, here are some of her best combos in the game.
- Sunseeker Dash + Light Attack + Heavy Attack (26%) – This combo is ideal for edge guarding since it sends the enemy down and away from you.
- Sunseeker Dash + Light Attack + Heavy Attack + Uppercut (32%) – For this combo, you’ll need to quickly dodge toward the enemy after the heavy attack to continue with an uppercut.
In addition, after the uppercut, you can also follow with two light attacks for maximum damage. - Sunseeker Dash + Light Attack + Light Attack (28%) but sends the opponent away from you, making it harder to follow up
- Sunseeker Dash + Light Attack + Ultimate (46%)
- Uppercut + Light Attack + Ultimate (36%)
- Light Attack + Light Attack + Light Attack + Ultimate (42%) – While not truly a combo, it’s one of the easiest ways to set up your ultimate while dealing very high damage.
While there are more combos, either they are too simple to mention or don’t deal enough damage to be worth using.
Conclusion
