Red Knight
The Red Knight offers exceptional magic damage and solid melee damage. He has great combos and can juggle enemies easily.
Due to that, he’s ideal against common and elite enemies and bosses alike. Even if an enemy has magic resistance, the Red Knight has enough melee damage to take them down easily.
Fencer
The Fencer is the best character in Castle Crashers when it comes to fighting bosses. His magic can deal phenomenal damage and melt bosses within seconds.
Additionally, his normal throwable is easily spammable, which makes it a great option against smaller enemies.
Blue Knight
The Blue Knight is one of the most unique characters in the game. He can freeze all enemies (except large bosses) and keep them permanently frozen during combat.
