Big Walk 100% Achievement Guide: How to Get All 12 Without Losing Friendships

Big Walk is one of those games where the “walk” in the title is doing a lot of heavy lifting, and by the time you’re done chasing down your last blorb, you’ll understand exactly why.

Also, just like most zany co-op games out there (from the more logical We Were Here Together to PlateUp, Overcooked and so on), it’s a game that can break friendships. I am here to help you avoid that, especially if you’re a completionist looking to unlock all the game’s achievements.

So, here’s a full breakdown of all 12 achievements in Big Walk and how to unlock them.

This is basically the tutorial of the game, so you will most likely get it without putting much thought into it, as long as you go through the tutorial arc.

Find the 4 blorbs scattered around the Starting Area and bring them to the key-unlocker. That unlocks your first key.

Take that key to the 5 key-maker slots scattered around. Every time you place the key in a slot, it grows an arrow on top pointing you toward the next one. Follow the arrows.

Once the key is fully built, carry it to the Red Bridge and slot it in. The bridge drops, and the achievement is unlocked.

Big Pack and Big Help Achievements

Big Pack and Big Help both come from the same source, so I am listing them together here to make it easier to unlock both.

Scattered around the island are blue spiral or circular structures that look a lot like parking garages. Inside, you’ll find wearable gear, mostly backpacks early in the game and mostly belts later on.

To get the Big Pack achievement, you must have a teammate physically place a backpack on you. For the Big Help achievement, a teammate must physically place a belt on you. Easy peasy.

Big Makeover Achievement

Big Makeover requires a trip to the salon, which only becomes accessible after you’ve unlocked Big Tunnel.

You will find it near the Red and Blue tunnel connection, close to the Rave.

Cross the green bridge, head down the red staircase, and you’ll land in a purple area housing the salon. Pick one of the 3 bottom, shiny colors, and have a teammate paint you with it to trigger the achievement.

Big Climb Achievement

From the station that unlocked the chairlift in the first place, ride it 1 station West to the highest point, which is the highest point in the entire game.

Get off, and climb all the way up to the small structure and sphere sitting at the top. There’s nothing waiting for you up there except the Big Climb achievement itself, which is honestly kind of the joke.

The Four Tower Keys: Big View, Big Sit, Big Tunnel, Big Ride

Big Walk Completing Achievements

These four follow an almost identical loop to each other, and once you’ve done one, the rest are muscle memory, so I am grouping them together below.

Just like with the tutorial, the structure is similar and simple: gather 5 blorbs at a specific colored tower, unlock a key, build the key, then carry it to a specific location to trigger the actual unlock.

Here’s the breakdown by tower:

AchievementTowerWhere the Key GoesTrigger
Big ViewRed TowerLarge stairs next to the tutorial areaUnlocks the Map Room, visit it to trigger
Big SitGreen TowerLift station near Green TowerTurns on the chairlift, sit on it to trigger
Big TunnelYellow TowerYellow DoorUnlocks the tunnel system and every other main colored door, enter the tunnels to trigger
Big RideBlue TowerMonorail Station near Blue TowerTurns on the monorail, step onto a moving one to trigger

IMPORTANT: All four of these are easily missable if you don’t pay attention (or know about them in advance).

If you care about the full achievement list, treat each of these towers as mandatory before you push deep into the late game.

Big Wall Achievement

Once you’ve finished all 5 of the prior key sets, the Black Obelisk door opens up. This is where the game stops being subtle about gatekeeping progress behind achievement completion.

Bring 6 blorbs to the Black Obelisk to earn the Black Key, then haul that key out to the bridge and gate system at the Wall, far to the west of the map.

Slot the key in, the Wall Gate opens, and walking past it is what actually triggers the achievement. Simple on paper, but expect a real trek to get there.

Big Goodbye Achievement

Once you’re past the Wall, it’s a long walk to the giant Sphere. Go inside and work through every puzzle it throws at you, then exit out the far side.

From there, head toward the actual end of the game, pass through the final turnstile, and walk through the white door.

The achievement doesn’t fire until you exit the game – keep this in mind if you don’t see it pop up.

Big Game: The One That Actually Finishes Everything

NOTE: Keep in mind that you cannot get Big Game without getting Big Goodbye first. There’s a specific trigger tied to that sequence, and if you try to force Big Game out of order, it simply won’t work.

Now, this is the big achievement, and it’s also the one with the most moving parts, so pay attention to the numbers.

Bring the final 15 blorbs to the green building near the Tutorial and Map area. On top of those, there are 8 additional red blorbs to collect, and these only become available after you’ve already used 30 blorbs to unlock all the tower keys earlier in the run.

So the math you’re tracking is 30 blorbs spent on keys, then 8 more red blorbs on top of that, then the final 15.

There’s also a challenge area hiding behind a purple door at the far East chairlift station. The puzzles inside give out purple blorbs, and if you don’t clean them all out during your first pass, don’t panic, those challenge blorbs also show up on the map after you’ve completed the game.

To make things easier for you, I have a full guide on how to complete the purple blorb challenges in Big Walk here.

Once everything’s collected, you get the white key. Take it back to the initial Tutorial area, where you’ll notice the small black sphere sitting inside has now split in half, revealing a slot built for exactly this key.

Slot it in, head down the stairs, and follow whatever instructions the game gives you from there. That’s the true ending.

Additional Big Walk Tips & Tricks to Get the Achievements Easily

Big Walk Constant Communication

I know that “easily” is relative, but it’s going it be easy as possible if you follow these tips below.

Probably the most important thing you should set up early on is a gesture language that will help you get through many of the areas. Make a list with hand gestures and whatever works for you so you can communicate.

Once your group has a shared “gesture language,” things will become a lot easier. And without it, some puzzles will seem impossible to beat.

Also, another important thing: talk to your team constantly. Not occasionally, not when something goes wrong. Constantly.

The grabbing mechanic is more useful than it looks on paper. You can often reach areas you’d otherwise have no business getting into by having a teammate grab you, then chaining grabs back and forth between players to climb higher and higher, scaling walls and barriers that look completely sealed off at first glance.

Go find the base of the Weather Balloon, north of the Green and Blue towers. There’s a unique item sitting there that gives you the ability to carry one extra blorb, and it slots onto your backpack once equipped.

If you get this early, you get a massive advantage when it come comes to easily carrying blorbs around.

Speaking of travel, skip the monorail as your default option. It’s slow, there aren’t many trains running, and you’ll spend more time waiting than moving.

The tunnels are the fastest way to get between areas once you’ve unlocked them, and there’s also a shortcut through the mountain near the golf blorb that’s worth knowing about.

Now you have the full guide to getting all 12 achievements in the game. The towers and the sequencing traps are where most people lose achievements without realizing it, so treat the missable warnings seriously and don’t assume the late game will let you backtrack for anything you skipped!
