These Are the Best Kindling Pals in Palworld (Full List)

Are you looking for the best Kindling Pals in Palworld? Let’s go through all of them and list your top choices to cook and smelt faster.

In short, the best Kindling Pal is Jormuntide Ignis since it’s the only one with level 4 Kindling. However, it’s only available in the late game. Thankfully, there are other great alternatives, depending on how far you’ve progressed.

Let’s examine all available options in turn.

All Kindling Pals in Palworld & Where to Find

Best Kindling Pals in Palworld.

Kindling Pals range from level one all the way to level four Kindling. Of course, level 4 Kindling is your best option as it will cook and smelt extremely fast.

However, level 3 and 4 Pals are only available in the late game, so you’ll have to use level 1 and 2 options early on.

Level 1 Kindling

All these Pals have Kindling level 1. While it’s not great, they’re easy to find and are essential when starting out.

Additionally, you can get most of these from Scorching Eggs (small ones). I highly recommend combining Kindling Pals with an infinite Ore farm so that they’ll always have Ore to cook.

Jormuntide Ignis is the only level 4 kindling Pal in the game and, thus, your best option overall. If you want to get it easily, check out our guide on how to find Huge Dragon Eggs. These eggs have a 1 in 3 chance to hatch Jormuntide Ignis.

Best Kindling Pals

Now that we’ve listed all Pals, these are the best options depending on the stage of the game you’re in:

  • Early-game: Foxparks – Available in the starting area and will help keep you warm and cook some food during the first nights.
  • Mid-game Arsox & Blazehowl – Can be found on Obsidian Mountain or more easily from Large Eggs and will help speed up cooking and smelting significantly.
  • Late-game: Jormuntide Ignis – Obtainable fairly early from Huge Dragon Eggs if you’re lucky and will cook and smelt anything within seconds. Yes, even Cakes!

Use any of these that you have available; if you’re going to hunt for any specific Pal, your best bet is farming Huge Dragon Eggs on Mount Obsidian and hoping to get Jormuntide Ignis.

Wrapping up

To summarize, the best Kindling Pal in Palworld overall is Jormuntide Ignis. However, if you’re just starting out, Foxparks is a great option.

Additionally, before you can get your hands on Jormuntide, Ignis, Arsox and Blazehowl are great upgrades to speed up your smelting and cooking. And that’s all!
